When a Fire Wreaks Havoc (Eng-Spa)

  Greetings to all the beautiful people of #AmazingNature. I was hesitating whether or not to share these photos in your community. Most of all I decided to do it to generate awareness to people not with pretty pictures but with real photos showing the damage caused by a fire generated by someone irresponsible in my area.

  I live in the city of Anaco, Anzoátegui state, Venezuela, in an urbanization called Los Pinos, it has always been a place away from the city and somewhat wooded, I think there were never pine trees as such to give reason to the name of the urbanization but it has always been a wooded area with lots of fauna and flora.

  In fact, my friends have named it Jumanji, because every time they come to visit me they always see some little animal in the area, a bunny or wild cat, we have even seen small alligators, because well into the bush there is a river nearby and also some streams, small but there are some.

  The point is that many animals are seen here, birds of many types, cachicamos, chigüires, Cari Cari, and of course snakes, mostly rattlesnakes, mousetraps and other poisonous.

  As you can see, the first two photos were taken during the fire. That happened about two weeks ago, it was from 2 to 3 in the afternoon and the fire spread very fast all over the place. Since I have lived here in this area for as many years as I have, I have never seen a fire as scorching as this one. For me, it was very tragic.

  Many iguanas, grasshoppers, crickets, and other insects came to my house to seek refuge, but the most impressive thing was the number of iguanas that grouped and escaped. There were about 10 of them that entered the garage of my house, it was shocking. And I also spent some hours with discomfort in my eyes, they itched a lot because of the smoke, it was a horrible experience. The photos shown from the third image onwards result from how everything looked after the fire.

  Saludos a toda la gente linda de #AmazingNature. Estuve dudosa si compartir estas fotos o no en su comunnidad. Más que todo decidí hacerlo es para generar consciencia a la gente no con fotos bonitas sino con fotos reales que muestran los daños causados por insendio generado por alguien irresponsable de la zona donde vivo.

  Yo vivo en la ciudad de Anaco, estado Anzoátegui, Venezuela, en una urbanización llamada Los Pinos, siempre ha sido un lugar alejado de la ciudad y algo boscoso, creo que nunca hubo pinos como tal para darle razón al nombre de la urbanización pero siempre ha sido un área boscosa con mucha fauna y flora.

  De hecho mis amigas lo han bautizado Jumanji, porque cada vez que vienen a visitarme siempre ven algún animalito por el área, un conejito o gato salvaje, incluso hemos visto caimanes pequeños, porque bien entrada a la maleza se encuentra un río cerca y también algunas quebradas, pequeñas pero las hay.

  El punto es que por aquí se ven muchos animalitos, aves de muchos tipos, cachicamos, chigüires, Cari Cari y por supuesto culebras, más que todo cascabeles, ratoneras y otras más que son venenosas.

  Como pueden observar, las dos primeras fotos fueron tomadas durante el incendio. Eso sucedió hace dos semanas aproximadamente, fue de 2 a 3 de la tarde y se esparció muy rápido el fuego por todas partes. Desde que tengo los años que tengo viviendo aquí en esta zona, nunca he visto un incendio tan abrasador como este. Para mí fue muy trájico.

  Muchas iguanas, saltamontes, grillos y otros insectos se acercaban a mi casa a buscar refugio, pero lo más impresionante fueron la cantidad de iguanas que se agruparon y escaparon. Eran como unas 10 que entraron al garaje de mi casa, fue impactante. Y también pasé algunas horas con molestias en los ojos, me picaban mucho por el humo, fue una experiencia horrible. Las fotos mostradas a partir de la tercera imagen son el resultado de cómo quedó después todo a causa del incendio.
