A Breathtakingly Beautiful Sunset!

IMG_4843.JPG

Come stand with me for a few hours to watch the sun sink behind the mountains!

You know when you get that feeling that something is going to be special!

Well, you are going to see a spectacular ending to this post.

We were on the apple farm and I loved that trr on the right, as it always lent a lovely character to the sunsets. At certain times of the seasons, I also got the sun shining right through that tree at times.
Come, take your time and have a look!

IMG_4725.JPG

It started like this and I felt that we were in for a fantastic show!

IMG_4706.JPG

A low flying eagle screamed at me; "Watch the sunset"!

IMG_4743.JPG

And so, this grand show gradually started to unfold!

Nowadays I can't stand for long periods anymore, as a pinched sciatic nerve in my spine has worsened due to all of the sitting in the coved virus lockdowns.
But I digress, Let's continue to watch!

IMG_4825.JPG

Keep your eyes on the skyline above the distant mountain range!

IMG_4874.JPG

Right, now let's start to zoom in on the mountain range!

IMG_4877.JPG

Ah! There he is, the sun peeping through between the two levels of the clouds!

IMG_4887.JPG

This one above is my favorite shot, as the sun neared the mountain line!

IMG_4902.JPG

I zoomed in more to see the exact spot where the sun came down to meet with the mountain!

IMG_4922.JPG

And here we have the final fire show as the sun slowly disappeared!

IMG_4801.JPG

Finally it was time for me to fly home!

And That's All Folks!

Now, if you tell me that the beauty here did not also enthrall you, then I will have to go and seek psychiatric help for myself 🤣
Nature is my safe haven and it shows me so many special sights that I struggle to keep up with all of the revelations.
Glad that I could bring this show to you!

Note; All photos are my own, unedited and cropped for uploading.

Oh wow this is so beautiful, the eagle was an early sign for the next beauty to come! Splendid colours. I almost traveled in time with these, thank you😊

Ah, so Lady Mary knows how to read signs. I felt exactly the same about that eagle and that's why I gave him a voice.
Glad that I could take you on a short time travel trip.
Thank you for the kind comment.

I love if when it's cloudy and then sun finds a gap between the clouds. The sunrays shine like big torch lights down to the earth 😃
The eagle silhouette looks cool too, but the sunset photos more 😊

Thank you Hannes,

It was the right occasion at the right time and that eagle was the messenger hahaha.
I also love it when the clouds dance in front of the sun.
There is a ton of sunray photos somewhere in my files, as I am also a little bit addicted to the rays lol

Cheers and thank you!

I haven't photographed a sunrise or sunset in a while. Your photos reminded me to do it once again, but this can only happen the weekend after next because I'm working on Saturday.

Yes, you have been on the right place at the right time and your photos reminded me on a similar photo I took a few weeks ago. Maybe I can use it for the #AlphabetHunt for the N 😃

Cheers and !BEER and have a good night Zac 😊

I love the cloudy days especially for sunset photos.
We have some of those magnificent sunsets over the ocean, with also a line of mountains on the horizon.
So at some time, I will have to get onto the part ofthe mountain here where it ends in the sea to get shots of the sun rays on the ocean.
But haven't had the time yet to go and do it.

So, you are going to use a sunset on the mountain for the "N"?
Are you going to title it; "A sunset on the Nountain" hahaha.

Cheers and thanks!

We have some of those magnificent sunsets over the ocean, with also a line of mountains on the horizon.

That's what I love to see 😁

No sunset, but the sun over some smaller Nountains a few hours before she sets 😉
I have found the most unusual word "nature", which nobody will use 🤣 and your sunray photos gave me a hint that I have taken a somehow similar photo a few weeks ago.

I also have some photos of the sun over the foothills of the mountains and it is indeed a beautifull sight Hannes.

Now why would you call "nature" an unusual word?
We view it as an ordinary word and even titled all of the wild and botanics "Mother nature" lol.
I am sure that you are going to show me that photo sometime I hope?

Cheers and thanks!

I or better said we are trying to find unusual words which not everyone will use in the challenge. I said "unusual" word because I know that almost everyone will take it ... I was only joking 🤣

When I took this photo I was with my motorbike on a mountain near my town, and I wished I had my full camera gear with me and had been there a little earlier. But I had only the 70-200mm lens on the camera and so I took quickly a few shots for a panorama, because a few moments later the clouds covered the sun fully up.

If I can find the sixth word you will see the photo tonight with my "N" post, but it isn't as spectacular as your sunray photos.

I had a sixth word, but unfortunately yesterday evening it began to rain and my "Clear outside" app says the next chance for me to see the comet Neowise might be on Saturday. So, I have to search for a new sixth N word 😉

Now that was unwise to pick Neowise without talking to mother nature first!

N has many depictions in photos and I am sure that you will find something in your photos my friend.
If not then simply snap a shot of the Neoxian logo hahaha.

Yeah, it's so frustrating when one sees a most beautiful scene and one doesn't have the proper equipment to capture the scene. My own frustration is that I cannot extend, or retract the super zoom fast enough.
Another frustration is that I put the camera on "macro" and I then make a distant shot, forgetting to correct the setting. At times I want to dump the camera into the sea, but then I remember that I love it hahahah.

Good luck with finding your unusual N words and I think that "Nature" is a good one lol.

Cheers and thanks!

I know, and it is cloudy again, but I have found another word 😃

Sometimes when I make a short ride only I take only a small bag with me - bad luck ;)

Such happens to me too sometimes - mostly I change the ISO and forget to set it back and until I find out why my images are so bright I have already taken a few :(

Oh, my words are not that unusual, but I think there are a few which no one else has, because they are Austrian mountains ;) lol

Glad to hear that you found another word. When are you posting?

I am sure that nature plays tricks on on us. She knows when you take the small bag and then she will show you big bag photos hahaha.

Oh yeah, forgetting to reset is a real problem lol.

I think that you are correct, as you can pick up many unusual words in those Austrian mountains hahaha

Cheers and thanks!

Yes, the sixth word was right in front of my Nose 👃🤣 and I have already made my post.

I believe that Mother Nature knows Murphy's Law and has a lot of fun with it 😁

Nobody said I couldn't take mountain names that start with N 😉 lol

Hahaha, and I will go and have a look at your post Hannes.

I presume Mother nature laughed when you found the answer right in front of your nose lol.

Hive is decentralized and freedom reigns, so nothing stops you from naming a mountain as a "Nountain" hahaha.

Cheers and thanks!

Haha, yes she must have laughed, because she has put the Noses of my kitten right in front of my Nose - so I got my sixth word 😉

I didn't want to go that far, because Barbara might have disqualified me from the challenge, but use mountain names starting with a N - so you answered my joke with a joke 🤣 lol

Hahaha, what a trick and I saw that Jo also published noses hahaha.
Recently we had quite a different discussions about noses and it seems that for the past week at least noses was the the fashion hahaha.

Hahaha, oh yes and glad that you liked the joke.

Cheers and thanks!

Yes, Jo has found a few very nice and bigger noses 😉 and a few more participants have chosen noses as one of their words too 😉

No need to worry my friend as a beer will fix it all hahaha.
The problem with Hive.blog is that they don't have emojis lol.
So I havve to write my laughter and smiles hahaha.

Fine, have a !BEER on this good answer 😁

I know only 2 emojis: 😉 and 😊 = &#128521 and &#128522 (plus a ; at the end), so I prefer Esteem or I just copy&paste the smileys from other comments or make them the old fashioned way like ;) lol

Hahaha, I have never made a smiley the old fashioned day and thank you for the nice description how to do it, but it's easier just to plonk a hahaha or a lol.
