A cloud of Starlings.
I saw the tree from afar and it had strange fruits on it.
So I switched my camera to the super zoom and they were not fruits, but rather Starlings.
Rainy weather does not make for easy camera shots, but I would rather try than giving up. The light was rapidly darkening in the late afternoon and I decided to have a go at the tree in the distance.
It is winter here and no tree that has shed all of its leaves should have fruits in this season. So it was pleasant sights after I downloaded the camera onto this PC.
This was the first sight that raised my suspicions about the fruits.
Did I tell you that the rainy clouds were gathering?
They were Red-winged Starlings (Onychognathus morio) as you can see below.
Nah, it was too far and dark to get them flying much closer, but I tried on the zoom.
And to think that it was strange fruits on the tree, so yes, at times my imagination can run away with me. I thought that I would be the first person to get fruits on a sleeping tree in winter. It was delightful however to see so many starlings together and not a raptor bird in sight here.
Now if you don't know the red-winged starling, here's one on a roof top.
Beautiful birds indeed.
And That's All Friends.

damn, seems I never have seen so many starlings at once. I prefer to shoot them as close-up as possible, they are pretty-dressed creatures. nothing but !LUV

Oh yeah, that was really a nice sight!
Sadly I could not get them up close, but today I got a large amount of geese flying over the mountains.
!LUV also to you!
