A Farm dam's secrets!
Overnight changes in our lives!
Here we have an early morning winter walk at a beautiful farm dam, as our night was covered by a black storm!
A promise that a nice day awaited as we left on this early trip!

As in life, one never knows what lies ahead, but we continue in the trust that we can handle it!
Unexpected beauty greeted us at the dam, as the ducks hurriedly made their way to go and hide in the reeds!
The animal's distrust of mankind never ceases to amaze me. They instictively know to scatter at the first sight of us. Not that we can blame them, as we have a history of our cruelty not only towards the animal kingdom, but also to each other.
As usual I found a spot to hide myself and nature decided to come alive all around. This Malachite Sunbird enhanced the beauty of the Protea flower that it was sitting on.
A cool song goes; "When peace like a river attendeth my soul..."
Only with peace within can we allow our souls to sing like this, getting a smile from @elizacheng!
To sit in silence and to think about the ways that we try to destroy each other when we are surrounded by so much beauty!
The recent spats on social media are turning uglier by the day and we also see so much of it in the charity world. Money and trust have never been bosom buddies and instead a great multitude of enemies have been created over the centuries.
Mankind's deviousness has no peers and many a heart was broken by severe losses in this life. Yet, just like that rainbow we all also have the promise of better days and at times the losses are lessons that we double in income in our futures as we learn from them.

And a few moments after this post, when I did the posh link on twitter, the news came in that the money that was stolen, was hijacked by an insider and returned Lady Joan. A miracle indeed!
One becomes wary of bad deeds, glad this got resolved quickly.

Sorry to hear of the struggles and spats in the charity world - so unfortunate that that kind of work can be hampered instead of cooperatively working together for the good of all!
