A peaceful walk in nature.

We wish everyone on hive a peaceful Sunday and a great new week.

Some lovely nature shots in here and although life is good, we will once again have a powercut today in a few minutes time at 16:00 (third powercut for the day).

So, I have not structured the story in this post today, as I will simply allow each photo to tell you its own story. Water and nature are a powerful combination, as they both spell life to me. Life as it should be, and not life as the profit hunters try to make it.
Greed is a big problem here, and greed is an enemy of nature.
Come and have a look.

Finally, I end with another island reflection shot.

They say that life is what we make it, and although there is some truth in it, they don't mention how life can become ugly or good depending on the choices that we make. We can love and protect, or we can hate and destroy.
Unfortunately many are trying to profiteer from anything and everything that they see, as witness to this is the rampant destruction of forests and the poisoning of rivers and the oceans.

May we make every effort to "agitate loudly" (Oliver Milman, 2022, The Insect Crisis: The fall of the tiny empires that run the world) for the protection of the environment and nature.
May we not be quiet or sit on the fence.

Just my way of thinking.

And That's All Friends.

The buggers keep changing the schedule and it is hard to get into a routine. Some are better than others and easier to work around. Today has been a little cushier as the final one for the day is on right now and no more thinking if I am turning the generator on at midnight or not. Things may or may not improve and we need to improvise where we can to make things easier.

Oh yes and there is nothing worse than to be working on tags of a completed post and then simply, without any warning to be switched off. Luckily I have a page recovery system that I can use the next day.
We have also had our final one today and tomorrow morning will be off from 8am to 10:30am.
I would hate to turn a gennie on at midnight and our two neighbors will not be impressed :)
Improvisation is the name of the game and what I like about the power cutoffs is that it brings back my child years on the farm. Lamps and candles were in fashion at the time :)
But I have to say that it sucks for IT and our work in the charity fields.
Be it as it may, others have it much worse than us, as some have lost everything by being forced to close their businesses down.

Very true and we have to be grateful for what we have. What frontend are you using as I thought they all saved posts as drafts anyway? Peakd and leofinance do so it makes it very simple as whatever is written is saved immediately. Saved me on many occasions as you just have no idea exactly when the power is going to go out. Tomorrow we are 4-6am and have no clue after that as the update is only until 4pm so I guess we will be 4pm.

For sure and we continue to streamline and not to have much. I am using Peakd and now don't laugh, as I forget where or what to do to get to the saved drafts. Then upon some morning I will wake up crystal clear and I find the drafts very easy. Then on the morrow I can't find it again :)
We had the 4pm today and I think that you also had it ?

8pm-10pm so not terrible today as the first one was 4am-6am and would only bother the birds. I hear you as some days things are clear and easy and others not so. I don't mind this time of night as the evening meal is out of the way and one can just relax and sit it out. You stay well and lets hope we have favorable times that fit into our schedules for once.

12 midnight until 2;30am this morning and only would only bother the spooks:)
Then another troublesome one at 4-6:30pm. That's it for the day if we don't go above stage 3.
Evenings are good to work at home, but sadly not for the businesses and havoc is sown in their survival stakes. We have started our area's part of a nationwide project recently and I will show it in a post soon. Strange partners, but it is about time.
