Atlantic Ocean mist.

I want to show you how quickly the weather changes here in the Cape. Yesterday was a very hot day, and today the wind decided to come in from the west across the wide expanse of the Atlantic.

Bleak and pale, as a heavy white salty air hung in the sky. But thankfully also much cooler.

Don't forget to look at the cute part at the end of the post, as it added a bit of color to our day. A problem that we have with this weather is that it adds a lot of phlegm to our chests. We have still not fully acclimatized to the weather down here, as the air is much thinner up north where we come from. But we are happy with the different laid-back lifestyle and the abundant beauty of nature. I so wish that we could have moved down here to the southern tip of the country much sooner. But everything happens for a reason.

Come, and let me show you how the sea mist covers the mountains.

And now for something cute.

Did I tell you that there is a laid-back lifestyle here in the Cape?

That little one at the left posed for a good shot :)

These are the 4 smaller goslings under mommy's watch, as the other 4 are now much bigger and wandering around.

And finally, here is a look at the west, and you can see the salt coming over from the ocean.

Rust buckets is what the locals call the rusted cars around here, and it's true as the salty air will simply flake the paint off the cars. We see many older cars that look as if they have measles :) I think that a medical aid must be established for the ill cars, so that they can access professional health services. Just joking a bit, but yeah, one has to take proper care to keep one's transport protected against the rust.

We are so glad to see that there are still 8 goslings left, as I think that last year there were only 2 or 3 left. Obviously, the predators had much food elsewhere to feed their babies. Spring is always like this, as the birds' nest all over the place and the birds of prey keep a continuous eye on the progress so that they can lift the babies out of the nests.
But such is life, as there is constant change in the air.

I hope you have enjoyed the pictures and the story.

We had a similar view in Romania over the mountains for the last 2 or 3 days and today it already started to snow in more parts of the country. It's absolutely crazy.

I am glad that you had a similar view over the mountains, as then you will know what kind of weather to expect the next time that you see it. In our case, it is summer here and today the rain clouds are starting to come over.
Here is a view of our mountains today.

Crazy weather indeed. !LOL

The view is very beautiful and cool, especially there are mountains and green trees and several species of animals, and I really like it.

The view of the mountain and the crowd appears to be more beautiful in seasons like this. I love the reflection of the goslings from the water. It's amazing.
