Come for coffee.

A quick stop for a tasteful mug of real farm coffee near the mountains.

We regularly pop in here to watch the new grapes growing on the vines and any other things. Today I will show you some beehives that have now arrived and they were placed in the pear orchards. For those that do not know, bees pollinate the pear flowers to assist in the fruits development.
I love a soft and sweet pear and soon there will be plenty here.

As you can see, the vines are growing lusher by the day. Soon there will be hundreds of bottles of wine harvested here again.

Now let's have a look at the beehives.

A box filled with bees is placed on an old car tire at the start of every third orchard line. The tire acts as a drain for the box in case of rain.

The bees are all out working now in the orchard and in the late afternoon they return to the hive. Not a good time for me to be around, as I am allergic to bee stings :)

Lovely to see how the clouds crept over the mountains.

Some great sea food meals are also served here, as we are close to the Atlantic ocean and of course also most of the other fare at 5-star restaurants. Our open air coffee shop is to the left of this picture.

Now you see the red and yellow flowers in the picture below?

They are called Pincushions and this is what you can find inside them.

We have another scheduled power cut soon at 10am, and I had to keep this post as short as I could. I don't like to post short posts, because I believe in placing well rounded and complete posts on my blog. But for now, we simply have to convert to the sad situations of forced power cuts.
I hope that you have enjoyed the pictures and the story.

And That's All Friends.
