Why sit in the rain if you can sit under a tree with your snack?

Weird weather that we are having as the day turned dark as night and a short while later light as day. Heavy black clouds pregnant with rain give wet birth and as the clouds lighten the wind drives them off at speed. So one moment the sun shines and the next moment it's dark.
But enough about the weather and come to have some squirrel fun.

Watch how this little guy eats his avocado.

This was when he first jumped up on the stump.

And here, you saw in the video how he stashed his avo left over in a crack behind the stump.

Time for a drink after the avo so he popped up onto the bird bath and gave a dove the evil eye.

So for safety sake the dove jumped over to sit on the "Christ Thorn" plant.

Now it is raining again, but thankfully the wind seems to have gone to visit somewhere else. We have had a lazy Sunday afternoon and took a slow stroll on the beach where I also got some interesting shots to show you sometime.

These squirrels are so lovely, I can really understand why you and Marian always have something for them to eat in your pockets 😍

Our day has also been more gray and rainy after a snowy night, so the white stuff is mostly gone already.

So help me here to understand, as I cannot see why this photo is not a top seller on NFT ?
I saw on twitter that they like the white snow with tree silhouettes, as some get very big totals in likes.
Why not this beauty?

yep, I would love to have such cute visitors 😍

This is just an average snapshot in my eyes, but anyway, I just don't do any advertising - I don't have the time to do more than I do at the moment.
I'm slowly getting more followers and when I reach about 2000 some time next year I want to do more.
I'm spending more time tweeting and commenting/replying on the Hive than photographing and editing anyway.

But I don't mind - patience will help me, right? I don't want no rocket launch and then fall deep - slowly getting higher with a hot air balloon and staying up in the air, that's what I want 😀

I understand what you are saying as I know that it takes a lot of time here to get where we want to be.
Next June I will be here for 5 years and it will take at least another 5 years to get where I want to be.
I don't think that you need any advertising, as your name is good and sooner or later the flood gates will open and you will be happy.
You are right, it all takes patience my friend and glad that you mentioned it 🤣
I know somebody that struggles with patience and I have forgotten who it is 🤣🤣🤣!LOLZ

This is my fourth year, and I think that now the things will go a little faster when the Hive prize is high and if it stays high.

Maybe you are right, the NFT world is still young and most people don't know what an NFT is - even I have no idea 😉 but I think it's the future for many things, not only for art.

Oh, I can be very patient if I can't do anything to get something faster 😁 !LOLZ

I am used to do everything as fast as possible, because if I leave something for later or even for the next day, I may be sure that at least one more important task will occure and the other work will be done even later.

We have had a good weather for three days, sometimes rained though. The temperature is above than average of November.

It looks the squirrel and dove don't get on well :)

Really very clever, she hid it so that it looked like part of the bark and even haughtily hahaha ran to the innocent pigeon to drink water at her leisure. Very good post I enjoyed it and it made me laugh

Oh yes, the squirrels are neat little critters when it comes to food.
The story of pigeon is that he thinks that he is the boss in the garden, but the squirrel don't like the pigeon because the pigeon chases all of the smaller birds.
So the pigeon wisely decided to go and sit somewhere else.

Glad that you had a laugh.
