How curious are you?

You are not going to believe what happened here!

I like to post short stories to show that human and nature life is very similar.

We have taken all of the pot plants out of our garden and moved them to the front of the house so that the movers can easily load them. So this morning I noticed this snail and I also received a lovely surprise here.
I will not tell you here what the surprise was as you can come and see for yourself below.

And here was the surprise! An inquisitive squirrel suddenly appeared.
He was obviously watching me from somewhere.

So he popped out and he kept his eye on the snail.

What is this ? he asked.

So I put a nut down for him near the moving snail.

He sat right there watching the snail as he ate the nut :)

Anything strange also seems to fascinate us as humans and many times when we see a person kneeling with a camera to take a photo of something, we will try to see what it is. If we are not sure if the something that the photo was taken of is safe, then we will keep an eye on it.
It is exactly the same in nature.
We live in a complex where one can see curtains moving in the windows when we enter with our car and it is old persons peeping to see who and what it is. Just so the squirrel peeped at me before he appeared to see what it is.
Everybody keeps an eye on everything and that's what I call inquisitiveness:)

Not only are we curious like squirrels, but we also like a nut from time to time. There are many similarities between us and the animals around us. 😁

We as humans we are always curious when we see new things especially when it is friendly. When we see another that is weird we can be scared too.

It is a two way thing.

Hahaha, yes thank you and we are lucky to have live movies every day in the garden.
We can even talk and play with the movie stars.

Oh yes, there are those neighbours who know better than you when you have come home in the morning, and some even know where you have been 😂
The curiosity of a squirrel is a healthy curiosity but the curiosity of some people isn't helthy at all - I call them "ill".
Lovely post as always, my friend, you're gonna miss these little guys.

Idleness is the real culprit Hannes. Sitting alone at home every day other peoples lives become their own lives and it keeps their tongues busy. So at times they dream up false stories to tell their idle friends as it keeps them all happy and important. So we don't blame them and all that we do is to pray for them 🙏

Sure we gonna miss them and did I tell you that they even know our car. Whenever we come back they simply run to meet us.
But you know what I will say here.

You're such a good guy, Zac, I wouldn't stay as calm as you if someone tells lies about me, and prayers were be the least thing I would think of.

You'll have to buy a new car because one day you might drive by your old house and they will cry when you don't come home to them ... or they will all try to follow you, so you should drive very slow 😊

Yep, but I would need to tell them how stupid they are to tell lies although they know they are wrong.

Maybe the squirrels could sleep in your new neighbours garden and come for visits and food during the daytime 😉

Oh Marian has told then that a few times, but it's like speaking to the walls, as they are set in their ways.
The last time that she did that, the one woman's husband told Marian to shut up and that's when I stepped in to tell him that he is dumb nut for telling a woman to shut up. Since that argument they retreated into their dens.

Guess what! We saw a squirrel crossing the road near our new place today. Now in fantasy land I would say that he was one of ours that was tracking us, but in reality we are too far away and there has to be other squirrels here. So a new adventure awaits 😁

Best thing is to get away from them as soon as one can. It took us 3 years of trying and now it's thankfully done 😉

Had a sunbird visit already and saw two sparrows making a nest in our granadilla fence. So things are looking good 😊

I have just finished installing a new set of blinds on the kitchen window and by luck I chose the correct color.

Wow what a cute squirrel 😍 and the cutest snail 😍 I loved the images and how the squirrel appeared suddenly and without disturbing the snail just observing it how beautiful nature and wildlife are

Thank you my musical friend and I never expected that squirrel to suddenly appear like that.
One would think that the squirrels are used to the snails here, but it was because I took photos close up of the snail that the squirrel wanted to see what is different about this particular snail.
