Let me take your breath away.

With some amazing sights here in the middle of our winter in South Africa.

Oh yeah, I just can't get enough of the mountain views here as the range extends for many kilometers around the ocean bay.

But I try my best to get as much as I can on camera. We still have to visit the historical ox wagon tracks of the old mountain pass and apparently there are also some old canons, but it is a stringent walk and I cannot do so at this time because of my bad knee. Sooner or later I will get there to show you how the original pass was carved out of the gigantic rocks by the early settlers.
For now have a look below.

It seems that there was a fire here at one time or another before we arrived in the area, as you can see the white trees in the valley in the picture below.
So tomorrow I will post the aftermath of the most recent fire that we had here in the nature reserve.

Beautiful sights and it looks even better in spring and summer, but I love the winter shades that are enhanced by the clouds and the sky.
I can only wonder how many fires ravaged these areas over time and yet, nature always restores itself. It has an amazing resilience and the new growth returns double fold every time.
A sure lesson to us never to give in to our problems, but rather to return with a vengeance to show our strength to all.

I hope that you have enjoyed the pictures and the story.

And That's All Friends.

Thank you and I agree with you. So sad that many souls don't appreciate the gift of nature.
But such is life.

I'm not sure I have ever seen such beauty in the demise of seasonal beauty. Winter always brings out the beauty to me. Almost anything can be beautiful in spring or summer, but, to be that stunning in the winter?

Stunning scenery!

You do your camera justice.

Thank you Lady Denise and that beauty that teases one's senses is the forerunner of four days of expected rain. I am starting to learn the weather patterns here, but it is still the quick changes in a day that gets me. You are right as every season has their own character and beauty.

Thank you once again and I think that it's the camera that does me justice.

Blessings, peace !LUV and have some !PIZZA

Thank you my friend and I wanted to show the beauty in our winter period. The shadows of the clouds before the sun made for some lovely impressions 😊

Cheers and thanks.

Hi Zac,

my daughter is driving, so I have some time to make replies ... I don't need to see how fast she's driving 🤣 !LOLZ

Your images show how a little bit of light can impact a scene and make it awesome 😊

... and thanks a million for the kind wishes on Twitter 🤗
