Some Supreme Views Here!

002.JPG

"Hey" he said, "I'm eating here, take your camera elsewhere to show the Hivers"!

And so I apologized and took my camera elsewhere to get some beautiful sights.

We took a drive to a public park near the mountains and I will let my camera do the talking here below.
All that I can tell you is that it is wonderful to be out in the clear and winter crisp air of the mountains. Even though it's winter, mother nature once again didn't disappoint and she put up a beautiful show for us.
Come and have a look.

IMG_1810.JPG

Two fallen trees that are supporting each other. During summer their branches are covered in leaves, but now in winter they are naked and we can clearly see how their branches are intertwined.
The two trees present a lovely green archway over the river during summer!

This Hadeda Ibis was doing some exercises at a distance on an old tree cut off!

IMG_1789.JPG

I kept an eye on this cloud that took a rest on the mountain and you will see below how that cloud shapes changed gradually!

026.JPG

Stretching his wings that means he is preparing for flight!

IMG_1857.JPG

Here, as you can see, the cloud on the mountain has expanded dramatically!

028.JPG

Told you that he was preparing to fly, but unexpectantly as so often happens in nature, his wife tagged along and a third one chose a different route!

029.JPG

A sight to see as they crossed in the sky right over our heads.
I could have taken one large picture of the leader only, but decided to include his mate!

IMG_1840.JPG

Those sun rays were our signal that our time was up and it was time to go home!

128.JPG

Finally, we leave you now, as the late afternoon sun broke through the clouds to light up some rock columns on the mountains.

At times like this I always have such a deep feeling of gratitude in my heart.
Yes, I am not in perfect health, but I breathe, I can see and hear, and all of my senses are as sharp as a meerkat's.
These are all of the things that money cannot buy. Again, like many times before I say that nature was the greatest gift that we have ever received.

Why? Surely a Lamborghini or a big diamond ring are worth so much more?
The Lambo might be a thrill and the ring might be a treasure, but over time they lose their luster, whereas nature is permanent.
A Lambo or a ring cannot heal, but nature can. In fact, if nature didn't exist there would be no Lambos, no rings and no humans.
So why then do we keep on abusing the gift of nature?

And That's All Folks!

We hope that you have enjoyed the pictures and thank you for visiting the blog of @papilloncharity

Thank you kindly!

If you look at the fourth picture from the bottom (last photo) up, you will see that same column towards the right of the picture.
I zoomed it as the sun hit it.
