Sunrise on a rainy day.

Beauty before the gloom, and we were so happy to see all of the colors.

A half an hour to take all of the shots in here, as I wanted to show you the changes of the views.

All of the talk here is about a guy called El Nino, and I would dearly love to sit down with him to chat about the profound changes in the weather :)
I mean how can he change the lovely rich colors of this sunrise to the drab grey of the rain cloud colors. This is not on in my mind, as at least the colors could have lasted for a longer period. But beggars cannot be choosers, and I had to take what I could get.
Btw, in case you think that I am a little bit crazy, El Nino is not a guy, as it is a weather system :) Just a bit of humor!

Come and watch the gradual sunrise color changes.

The wind helped the sunrays to climb up on a hill.

Icy cold outside, but even with my gammy leg that does not like the cold, I simply hobbled around to get the shots. Not often that I can get a sunrise like this, and I also don't post many sunrise posts, but when I see something with this rich grandeur, then I simply have to get it on camera. I really did not want to waste this opportunity, and I am quite happy with how it turned out.

The last 3 shots below will show you how the sunrise colors started to dissipate.

And finally, that was it, as the rainclouds started to roll in.

Thankfully it didn't rain for the whole day, as later in the afternoon some majestic white clouds started to appear. There are concerns about the effects that might be experienced over the next while as El Nino started up this week and should show its force in about August, September, and thereafter. We will have to wait and see what happens. They say it could be a record one this time around, with worse drought, heat, and extreme weather, which may lead to famine and hard times.
These weather systems are cyclical, even with climate change, and come around every number of years.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

Such an eye-catching capture! I love how the colors complement each other and how the subject is framed within the scene.
