They say that water is life.

I will show you the great difference to verify this.

The first photo was taken by me in the Spring season.

How best to reflect the seasons than with the aid of water. We are in a Winter rainy season and the birds and the animals that live here all know that. It is amazing to see the death and the new life that occurs in nature in the different seasons.
We are very busy in-between our charity work and sorting out the new house, but we are slowly getting there.
Come and have a look at this post today.

The next three photos are of the late Summer season.

And then here comes our winter rains.

The same lake was flooded overnight after some heavy rainfall and new life started to spring up all over. Obviously preparing for the Spring season, that is now starting here in September. Soon this entire region will start to turn into paradise.
So yes there can be no life without water and although the weather patterns are extremely finicky nowadays we know that the water will continue to come. Or should I say that we hope the water will continue to come.
Some doom prophets tell us different things lately and one can never know what the future holds.
We can only hope that it will hold the best for all of us.

And That's All Friends.

No water, no life my friend. Simple as that.
Yes, we are known as having 4 seasons in one day over here.

Spring will be here soon and then new life will appear all over the place !LOL

Happy Thursday!

We have to believe that the water will continue to come - otherwise someone will try to figure out how to control the weather

I agree that we have to believe that it will rain, but one thing that can thankfully never happen is that the government would be able to control the weather. They are not even good at controlling people.

Thank you kindly for the VYB effort!

Well, it's hot summer here. I 💧 most of the plants in the village garden but then I had to leave for the city for a fortnight. Let's hope life will be still there when I visit about the end of the month.

Oh man, after two weeks with no water those plants will surely suffer. Is there no one else that can water them when you are away?

The more you travel, and the more Hive blogs you discover, the more revelations you have about how different places are across the globe.

Seeing this from Canada, where there is precipitation year round, we would be in a state of emergency from either a dry or rainy season. Just getting back from 10 days in Malta where I saw 1 cloud the whole time, we learned that it simply doesn't rain from June to September. ?!?!?

Amazing that one season demolishes all green life and another brings it all right back.

Totally agreed and one does indeed learn a lot here on Hive my friend.

So many areas have different rain seasons here in South Africa and it also changes along the coast lines, as we are fronted by both the Indian and the Atlantic oceans. Indian ocean is summer rain fall and the Atlantic is winter rain fall. Currently we are on the Atlantic ocean.

Lucky you to be at Malta as I have never been there, in fact I have been all over Africa, but have never left the continent to visit other countries. Maybe one day when I am old :)

Yes, we call it the song of the seasons!

Quite alarming how quickly things do change and water is life.

Oh yes and can you believe that in Oudtshoorn a dam that was dry for years was filled in half a day.

That is a good point! Water really does reflect the seasons. Love that first shot. The reflection......

Thank you and yes, one can never over state the importance of water.
During Spring and summer on a wind still day that dam can really show some great reflections.
