Unusual nature scenes.

Some mountains and a strange cloud formation to please your eyes.
097.jpg

Not a usual sight of the mountains, but so amazing to watch. I thought that the big cloud above the mountain was a mini typhoon, but it was only a strong wind that created its art with the clouds.
This is the Hottentots-Holland Mountain range, that runs along at the back of our rural town. It sits on the Eastern side, and we have the Atlantic Ocean at the Western side. A great thing for photographers is that there are also some very big and famous wine farms, and they teem with wildlife as well as fauna and flora.

What would you do if you were on your way to the shops, and you saw a sight like this?

Without hesitation, I turned the car on to the mountain road to go and see what was going on.

The nice thing that I find in our area, is that one can never expect what one would find for photography on any new day. I have some almost 7 years of posts in here now, and I still find new sights every day. Nature is abundant and the skies have a constant change. One can also learn so many new things about nature, as it is full of lessons for us about life and how it should be lived.
Nature never lies and what you see is what you get. Nothing is ordinary, even if it seems to be at times, but a closer look will reveal the hidden beauties.

A long streak of the cloud on the mountains swirled out over the hills.

And finally, the show was over as you can see in the last picture above.

Oh yes, we are blessed with nature still being found around us. Thankfully, it hasn't all been removed for development and agriculture. There are green spaces, and even some green corridors, for animals, birds, and insects to find food and shelter, and keep the already damaged eco-systems going.
We, as humans, have selfishly and thoughtlessly brought in foreign fauna and flora, without considering the impact they have on the endemic fauna and flora. Then when foreign insects start to destroy foreign trees, we bring in poisonous sprays to try to fix our mistakes. But it is too late, and the damage is done.

Then we have another headache with the poachers that strip the rocks and our beaches, and the plant smugglers that leave barren patches behind, when they rip the plants out to go and sell them on the black market. Many species are being regularly placed on the endangered list. But we do what we can to support those that try their best to conserve and protect nature. That's about all that one can do, and also to remain vigilant about our surroundings.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

Thank you and I am glad that you appreciated the post.
The best advice that I can give you is that you must find a developer to help you with the web 3 issue, and your other issues.
I wish you good luck!

What unusual shapes clouds have. With special photo processing, you can pass them off as UFOs)))

Oh yeah, the clouds here come in various sights due to the strong winds.
I suppose a person can process them, but I like to leave them as they are.

We are of the same mind, as I do the same thing, and the clouds add to the character of the photos.
