We found a human seal.

199.JPG

An isolated beach deep into a section of the mountain pass that runs all along the side of the sea.

WE heard that "bait balls" meaning tight wound schools of sardines were passing by at our coast, followed by feeding predators, such as whales and dolphins.
So we decided to follow the mountain pass along the sea to see if we could find the action.

As you can see, we were miles away from home, as we live close to the mountains at the other side of the sea.

I stopped at a lookout spot to take a photo of the seals below in the ocean.

But then I saw one lonely human seal.

Now these waves are not something to play with, as you can see the side streams fighting with the normal flow here.

But the human seal didn't seem to mind and he continued playing on the surface of the waves.

Then it was time for us to go as tomorrow is another day.

During this outing I also took pictures of all sorts such as boats, birds, rocks, flowers and you name it.
A wonderful way to spend a bit of free time on a Friday and we really enjoyed our time out.

We hope that all of you are also enjoying the Friday.

And That's All Friends!

Note: All photos are my own and taken with a Canon Powershot SX60HS Bridge camera.

We hope that you enjoyed the pictures and the story.

Bit early for the Sardine run, if they arrive the seas come to life again.

Human seal had better be cautious out there, Johnny up tail may be lurking around.

Dramatically beautiful coastline!

Thank you and I saw some action that were taken this week of the bait balls from a boat.
We will have to wait until the hopefully run closer to the shallows to get te action on camera.
I cannot pay a skipper ZAR450 for a boat ride out deep and risk that we may not even find the action.

Yes, tere are no lifegaurds or shark nets out there at that beach, butva few miles further on there's a shark spotter tower where the guys watch over the ocean with telescopes.

Blessings and !BEER
