GRANADA | A natural treasure 💚
Hello friends who love nature, I am pleased to be back here in this warm community. As we had not read each other before, I wish you a happy new year with much prosperity and may the blessings of heaven be poured out according to God's perfect measure. In my posting I will share with you a treasure I found at an aunt's house without planning it.
It is the pomegranate or punica granatum plant, which adorns and gives health thanks to its many benefits contained in the whole plant. For example, its great antioxidant power. My aunt told me wonders about this plant and how her neighbors often go to ask for fruits and flowers, because of the powerful healing action of the pomegranate for diseases related to the digestive system, reproductive system, circulatory and cardiovascular system, nervous system, arthritis, diabetes, urinary tract infections and even for cancer.
Yes friends, there are some people who recently joined in the search for pomegranate at my aunt's house, claiming that they use it as a treatment for prostate cancer they suffer from. If you find this unbelievable it's not beyond the pale to do some research on the properties of pomegranate and the benefits in cancer.
The pomegranate is a medium sized shrub that flowers and bears fruit at specific times but my aunt is blessed because amazingly all year round it is in bloom and fruiting, which is an out of the ordinary quality. Of course, I take this opportunity to show you its fruits and flowers below.

Como no nos habíamos leído antes pues les deseo un feliz año con mucha prosperidad y que las bendiciones del cielo se derramen de acuerdo a la medida perfecta de Dios. En mi publicación les compartiré un tesoro que encontré en casa de una tía sin planificarlo.
Se trata de la planta de granada o punica granatum, que adorna y regala salud gracias a sus muchos beneficios contenidos en toda la planta. Por ejemplo, su gran poder antioxidante. Mi tía me habló maravillas de esta planta y de cómo sus vecinos van con frecuencia a pedirle frutas y flores, por la potente acción curativa de la granada para enfermedades relacionadas con el aparato digestivo, el aparato reproductor, el sistema circulatorio y cardiovascular, sistema nervioso, la artritis, la diabetes, infecciones de orina y hasta para el cáncer.
Si amigos, hay unas personas que recientemente se sumaron en la búsqueda de granada en casa de mi tía, alegando que lo usan como tratamiento del cáncer de próstata que padecen. Si te parece increíble no está demás que investigues sobre las propiedades de la granada y sobre los beneficios en el cáncer.
La granada es un arbusto mediano que florea y da sus frutos en épocas específicas pero mi tía es bendecida porque asombrosamente todo el año está floreado y con frutos, lo que es una cualidad fuera de lo normal. Por supuesto, aprovecho esta oportunidad para mostrarles sus frutas y flores a continuación.

Notice, there is a slight difference between hermaphrodite and sterile pomegranate flowers.
La flor es pequeña pero exótica, crece solitaria aunque también se puede apreciar en pequeños ramilletes. Son hermafroditas, es decir que de ellas sale el fruto, pero no todas lo harán y a esas se les dice estériles. Sin embargo, las flores que no dan fruto tienen su utilidad porque de estas es que se recomienda la preparación de infusiones de flor de granada.
Fíjate, hay una leve diferencia entre las flores hermafroditas y las estériles de la granada.

I must admit that I didn't know as much about pomegranate as I do now. I only understood about it that it was a good fruit for juicing. Now I see with different eyes the pomegranate tree at my aunt's house and I know that its properties for the organism are outstanding, from antibacterial, astringent, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticancer and antihypertensive, this is something amazing.
Debo reconocer que no sabía tanto de la granada como hasta ahora. Solo entendía sobre ella que era una fruta buena para jugos. Ya veo con otros ojos el árbol de granada en casa de mi tía y sé que sus propiedades para el organismo son destacadas, desde antibacteriana, astringente, antioxidante, antiinflamatoria, anticancerígena y antihipertensiva, esto es algo asombroso.

Hi @parauri, interesting post and beautiful photos. This particular variety of pomegranate, the one with pink seeds, has that particularity, it can fruit all year round, as long as it has a good edaphic quality and enough irrigation. Greetings.
Hi @plantpoweronhive thank you and sorry for my delay in seeing your kind comment. I appreciate the information provided that nourishes the content of my publication. Likewise the soil at my aunt's house is not wet, quite the contrary it is neglected because the area suffers from lack of water and does not have a proper irrigation system for her plants. This is what catches my attention. Maybe its roots are very deep and have gotten good nutrients on their own. Blessed pomegranate plant.
