Hola amigos.

En navidad hay diversas emociones y placeres que se agolpan. Es indudable que por doquier hay mucho que disfrutar y con ansias esperamos poder cumplir las alegrías tradicionales. En esta ocasión me motivo a participar en el FOTOCELF N°8, en su edición especial de navidad organizado por @celf.magazine a cargo de @camiloferrua con el valioso al apoyo de @theycallmedan, @aliento , @cliffagreen y @cccf de Creative Coin.

Hello friends.

At Christmas time there are various emotions and pleasures that crowd in. Undoubtedly, everywhere there is much to enjoy and we look forward to fulfilling the traditional joys. On this occasion I was motivated to participate in FOTOCELF N°8, in its special Christmas edition organized by @celf.magazine in charge of @camiloferrua with the valuable support of @theycallmedan, @aliento , @cliffagreen and @cccf from Creative Coin.

Mi participación consta de una serie de fotos en merecido homenaje a los héroes anónimos de la navidad, como los he llamado. Ellos están a cargo del trabajo fuerte para que disfrutemos del placer de comer hallaca, plato típico que forma parte de las tradiciones navideñas en mi país Venezuela.

My participation consists of a series of photos in a well-deserved homage to the anonymous heroes of Christmas, as I have called them. They are in charge of the hard work so that we can enjoy the pleasure of eating hallaca, a typical dish that is part of the Christmas traditions in my country Venezuela.

En esta serie de fotos verán a mi madre y a mi tío como los verdaderos héroes anónimos de nuestras navidades.

Alguien tiene que hacer el trabajo duro y ellos siempre están dispuestos sin quejas, todo lo contrario, con gran esmero cumplen la tarea de cocinar las hallacas, que ya han tenido un previo proceso de elaboración que igualmente no es nada fácil. Ahora es momento de cocinar.

In this series of photos you will see my mother and uncle as the real unsung heroes of our Christmas.

Someone has to do the hard work and they are always ready without complaints, on the contrary, with great care they fulfill the task of cooking the hallacas, which have already had a previous process of elaboration that equally is not easy. Now it is time to cook.

Mi tío está al frente para preparar el fogón.

My uncle is at the front to prepare the stove.

No dejará de vigilarlo.

He will not stop watching you.

No pierde tiempo y sigue preparando leña para avivar el fuego.

He wastes no time and continues to prepare wood to fuel the fire.

Llega el momento de colocar las hallacas para su cocción.

It is time to place the hallacas for baking.

Ambos, mi tío y mi madre, siempre con gran energía.

Both my uncle and my mother, always with great energy.

Hay que seguir envolviendo hallacas mientras se cocinan otras. Mi madre sigue apurando el paso cuando no hay más nadie cerca para que les den una mano. Pero con buen humor se hace el trabajo más fácil.

We have to keep wrapping hallacas while others are cooking. My mother keeps hurrying when there is no one else around to give them a hand. But with good humor the work is made easier.
