Quest for a portrait

Well, this week's theme of @qurator's Photo Quest is a little tricky for me: I rarely photograph people! Animals and landscape, at will! People... just every once in a while. But managed to dig up some from distant vacations, that I really like.

Visited São Tomé e Príncipe, an african island on the west coast of the african continent. There is tons of beauty to be seen, but in what concerns portraits, smiling children win the prize.

It was great to see the smile on their faces as we visited; our guide took us to his neighbourhood, and we had brough some candies with us... which they loved!

Not only smiles were seen there, thow. One of the kids had a more serious look; I only feel bad for having taken such a crappy photo: his expression surely deserved a decent one!
