Honestly, I'm not a big fan of romantic dramas. I generally prefer fantasy and adventure. But you've done a great job of describing how you can go from being skeptical about romantic stories to being completely drawn in. Sometimes just a name can pique curiosity, creating a kind of reverse psychology effect, as you said.
