Los que están siguiendo mis relatos de la Ruta 40 que recorrí en moto en el año 2015 pueden acceder a cada una de las etapas a traés de las referencias con enlaces e imágenes que encuentran al final de este post.
A medida que iba recorriendo la Ruta 40 he visto (y a veces visitado y fotografiado) algunos lugares muy hermosos que hoy comparto sus Uds.
Los he visto al pasar, he cruzado los carteles que indican su localización y, a veces, he tenido el tiempo a disposición para hacer un breve recorido y conocer un poco más de ellos.
Hoy voy a volver un poco atrás en el recorrido. Voy a volver hacia el Norte a la provincia de Catamarca y les voy a mostrar un lugar muy hermoso: Shinkal de Quimivil y son los restos de la capital provincial más austral del imperio incaico, a 1240 mt sobre el nivel del mar, en el Departamento Belén, Catamarca, Argentina.

As I was traveling Route 40 I have seen (and sometimes visited and photographed) some very beautiful places that today I share with you.
I have seen them as I pass by, I have crossed the signs indicating their location and, sometimes, I have had the time at my disposal to take a brief tour and learn a little more about them.
Today I am going to go back a little in the route. I am going to return to the North to the province of Catamarca and I am going to show you a very beautiful place: Shinkal de Quimivil and they are the remains of the southernmost provincial capital of the Inca empire, at 1240 mt above sea level, in the Department Belén, Catamarca, Argentina.
Una maravilla de escenario natural que eligieron los incas para instalarse en este lugar.
El Shinkal de Quimivil es una construcción inca del año 1470.Los residentes locales eran los diaguitas calchaquíes que ocupaban un territorio desde Salta, Jujuy hasta la Rioja pasando por Santiago del Estero, Tucumán y parte del norte de Córdoba.
La unión entre los incas que comenzaban a desplazarse hacia el sur del continente y los diaguitas fue pacífico, sin conflictos.
A wonder of natural scenery that the Incas chose to settle in this place.
The Shinkal de Quimivil is an Inca construction from the year 1470. The local residents were the Diaguitas Calchaquíes that occupied a territory from Salta, Jujuy to La Rioja, passing through Santiago del Estero, Tucumán and part of the north of Córdoba.
The union between the Incas who began to move towards the south of the continent and the Diaguitas was peaceful, without conflicts.
El sitio arqueológico son 30 hectáreas dentro de las cuáles se han encontrado numerosas testimonianzas de la época: restos de alimentos, cerámicas y sitios que están asociados y vinculados unos con otros.
Siguiendo el curso del rio Quimivil que le da el nombre al sitio se llega a las sierras en la zona del Colorado en una zona de Prepuna.
The archaeological site is 30 hectares within which numerous testimonies of the time have been found: remains of food, ceramics and sites that are associated and linked to each other.
Following the course of the Quimivil river that gives the site its name, you reach the mountains in the Colorado area in an area of Prepuna.
