Las distintas tonalidades de la comarca andina / The different shades of the Andean region [ESP/ENG].
Si hay algo que caracteriza la zona de El Bolsón en la Patagonia argentina es la diversidad de tonos y colores en su paisaje.
Desde el año 2017 no habíamos tenido una nevada tan pareja y consistente como la de este año, que en práctica duró tres días seguidos y, en forma intermitente, casi una semana.
Para la zona es bastante ya que a excepción del Piltriquitrón, conocido a nivel local como El Piltri hay pocas montañas de altura, siendo por lo común cerros de baja altura.
La nieve llega a El Bolsón. / The snow reaches El Bolsón.
If there is something that characterizes the El Bolsón area in Argentine Patagonia, it is the diversity of tones and colors in its landscape.
Since 2017 we have not had a snow as uniform and consistent as this year, which in practice lasted three days in a row and, intermittently, almost a week.
For the area it is quite a lot since, with the exception of the Piltriquitrón, locally known as El Piltri, there are few high mountains, being generally low hills.
But what I want to show you in these images is the diversity of colors in the landscape from one station to another. From autumn to winter. Or, if we want to make specific mention of the months, between April and June.
Part of the green of the landscape is transformed. It turns yellowish brown until the leaves fall off. And then go to the white of the snow.
Conifers of all species resist with their more or less bright green.
The snow that gradually covers them is a separate show.
Pero lo que les quiero mostrar en estas imágenes es la diversidad de colores en el paisaje de una estación a otra. Del otoño al invierno. O, si queremos hacer mención específica a los meses, entre Abril y Junio.
Parte del verde del paisaje se transforma. Pasa al marrón amarillento hasta que se caen las hojas. Para luego pasar al blanco de la nieve.
Los coníferas de todas las especies resisten con su verde más o menos brillante.
La nieve que poco a poco los va cubriendo es un espectáculo aparte.

Comienza a llegar el invierno. / Winter is coming.
El inicio del invierno lo marcan las cumbres del Piltri.
Si están veteadas de blanco significa que los primeros fríos y, eventualmente, nevadas están llegando.
Así sucedió puntualmente este año. Y así viene sucediendo desde tiempo inmemorial.
The beginning of winter is marked by the summits of the Piltri.
If they are streaked with white it means that the first cold weather and, eventually, snowfall are coming.
This happened promptly this year. And this has been happening since time immemorial.
