Te sorprenderá lo que pierdes por cada minuto que no lees este post sobre hábitos

Holaaaa a toda la comunidad @motherhood me complace participar por acá con herramientas que pudieran ser útiles para el Bienestar de la familia.

Hablaré desde la experiencia de mamá emprendedora y cómo los pequeños cambios me impulsaron a crear hábitos sostenibles, eficientes y productivos.

Hoy soy madre de una niña de 4 años y la verdad con la maternidad tuve muchos cambios externos (en la rutina) e internos ( físico, mentales y emocionales) que no me hizo fácil retomar mis actividades y menos aún convertirlos en hábitos nuevamente.

Soy de profesión Ingeniero y mi mente como buen ingeniero es bien estructurada, me considero planificada pero cuando me convertí en mamá todo se salió de control,me sentía vulnerable, siempre estaba improvisando, haciendo lo que podía como podía, mi sistema neuronal seguía funcionando modo Pre-parto.

Adoro hacer ejercicios también servir a otros con mi actitud y aptitudes, buscaba reavivar esa pasión mi cuerpo y mi mente lo necesitaban (forman parte de mi ser), deseaba vivir una maternidad socialmente activa, lograr la armonía entre mis diferentes roles, AMO ser mamá y también AMO ser networker, deportista, viajera.

No me malinterpreten, pienso que todos los cambios son para bien, aunque no te vaya bien al menos puedes aprender de ellos. Con la disposición de encontrar esa armonía me enfoque en crear nuevos puentes de conexión en mi cerebro creando sistemas en mis rutinas que me permitieran ser más eficiente, más productiva, más enfocada, más enérgica cada día y los HÁBITOS me lo hicieron posible.

Ahora bien, todos sabemos qué son los hábitos y que establecer los adecuados mejorará nuestra vida, pero quizás te has preguntado ¿Por dónde empiezo? En mis intentos fallé muchas veces y dentro "de los cambios que no te va tan bien" aprendí 3 claves para un arranque exitoso al establecimiento de nuevos hábitos.

Si! dije arranque exitoso (aún no hablamos del hábito en sí) porque muchos saben que comer sano es bueno, pero ¿cuántos llegan a convertirlo en su estilo de vida?. Es fácil desistir en el proceso de instaurar un hábito si el arranque es deficiente, es decir, siempre vemos el HACER ( comprar-hacer la comida saludable) pero descuidamos el SER ( ¿Para qué voy a comer saludable?, ¿Que me hace sentir intentarlo?, ¿Cómo me hará sentir lograrlo?)

Poco a poco me adapté, transforme mi rutina y volví al ruedo. Esto fue lo que me funcionó para crear hábitos sostenibles:

  • Autoimagen: que piensas de tus capacidades, tus habilidades, de tus fracasos. Si has fallado, ¿piensas que siempre fallarás?,que eres un fracasado! A eso se le denomina Profecía Autocumplida. Declaras tu futuro por tu experiencia del pasado. Debemos asegurarnos de tener la imagen correcta de nosotros mismos.

  • Establecer una meta clara y definir el sistema: sigamos con el ejemplo de comer sano, para muchos comer sano es no comer en la calle, pero para otros es no comer frituras, harinas o dulces. Entonces, ¿cuál es tu meta clara?, el PARA QUÉ lo haces.

    Te dejo un ejemplo:
    Crearé el hábito de comer saludable porque me hace sentir más enérgico y ligero, esto me ayudará a iniciar los ejercicios lo que me dará más vitalidad impactando positivamente en el tiempo de calidad con mis hijos. O quizás, comiendo saludable me ayudará a lograr la definición física que deseo o incluso me dará más año de vida.

¿CÓMO lo haré? es el sistema que debemos crear, es decir, debemos crear pequeños cambios o movimientos que realizándolos consistentemente nos lleve a conseguir nuestra meta.

Ejemplo:
disminuiré a 1 vez por semana los dulces y refrescos,las proteínas no serán fritas sino al horno o sancochadas, disminuiré las comidas en la calle a 1 por semana y tendré 2 meriendas en el día para evitar los atracones o las tentaciones de picar chucherías. Aumentaré mi ingesta de frutas y agua, evitaré los licores durante 2 meses.

Espero me hayas entendido la idea. Un Súper TIP que me lleva a dar la milla extra es "enfócarme en el sistema no en la meta" has escuchado la tan famosa frase enfócate en el proceso no en el resultado, bueno es lo mismo, quizás en otro post profundice en esto.

  • Visualizarse alcanzando la meta: el cerebro no sabe distinguir entre lo que es verdadero o falso, así que pon tu mente a volar y visualiza cómo te sentirías si lo logras, que harías, si incluso bajaste algunos kilitos comiendo sano recompensarte comprando alguna prenda o quizás comiendo algo delicioso, imagina cómo se ve ese plato o cómo te verás con el nuevo look.

Sólo son ideas para que pongas tu imaginación modo ON.

Estos 3 elementos fueron claves en mi arranque a establecer los nuevos hábitos y son el resultado de mucho ensayo y error, concluí que la preparación previa es tan importante como la carrera misma y no es negociable, ¿Estás Listo?

Pequeños cambios - Grandes victorias

Lo bueno de los cambios es que no requieres dinero para hacerlos, no necesitas profesión, no necesitas experiencia, no necesitas de otras personas, no necesitas comprar nada, no necesitas mucho tiempo, sólo depende de tí, de tu amor propio, de tu carácter y de tu FE para alcanzar esos sueños anhelados, un bajo precio para la gratificación y los resultados que conseguirás.

Recuerda que todos enfrentamos retos a lo largo de nuestra vida, la experiencia me enseñó una lección fundamental: los cambios positivos que en un principio pueden parecer pequeños y poco significativos, se transformarán en resultados #extraordinarios si tenemos la #disciplina de mantenerlos durante varios años.

Frecuentemente descartamos los pequeños cambios porque no parecen importar mucho en un momento dado. Si vas al gimnasio tres días consecutivos, no te vas a poner en forma. Comenzamos pequeños cambios en nuestras rutinas pero como los resultados no se dan de manera inmediata; eso nos frusta, nos desilusiona y nos lleva de vuelta a nuestras viejas rutinas.

Desafortunadamente, el ritmo de la transformación es lento y hace que sea muy fácil volver a nuestros malos o deficientes costumbres. Si como un plato poco saludable hoy, la báscula no va a registrar un cambio muy drástico, por eso es fácil pasar por alto una pequeña mala decisión, y luego otra y otra.

Enfócate en mejorar 1% cada día y no caigas en la trampa del 1% en contra. Los números no entienden de intenciones, al final el resultado será gratificante o devastador y no fue de la noche a la mañana, fue de 1% en 1%.

Hello to all the @motherhood community, I am pleased to participate here with tools that could be useful for the well-being of the family.

I will speak from the experience of an entrepreneur mom and how small changes pushed me to create sustainable, efficient and productive habits.

Today I am a mother of a 4 year old girl and the truth is that with motherhood I had many external changes (in routine) and internal (physical, mental and emotional) that did not make it easy for me to resume my activities and even less to convert them into habits again.

I am an engineer by profession and my mind as a good engineer is well structured, I consider myself planned but when I became a mom everything got out of control, I felt vulnerable, I was always improvising, doing what I could as I could, my neural system was still working Pre-partum mode.

I love to exercise and also to serve others with my attitude and skills, I was looking to rekindle that passion my body and mind needed it (they are part of my being), I wanted to live a socially active motherhood, to achieve harmony between my different roles, I LOVE being a mom and I also LOVE being a networker, a sportswoman, a traveler.

Don't get me wrong, I think all changes are for the better, even if you don't do well at least you can learn from them. With the willingness to find that harmony I focused on creating new bridges of connection in my brain by creating systems in my routines that would allow me to be more efficient, more productive, more focused, more energetic every day and HABITS made it possible.

Now, we all know what habits are and that establishing the right ones will improve our lives, but maybe you have asked yourself where do I start? In my attempts I failed many times and within "changes that don't go so well" I learned 3 keys to a successful start to establishing new habits.

Yes, I said successful start (we are not yet talking about the habit itself) because many know that eating healthy is good, but how many actually make it their lifestyle? It is easy to give up in the process of establishing a habit if the start is deficient, that is, we always see the DOING (buy-do the healthy food) but we neglect the BEING (why am I going to eat healthy, how does it make me feel to try it, how will it make me feel to achieve it).

I gradually adapted, transformed my routine and got back on track. This is what worked for me to create sustainable habits:

  • Self-image: what do you think of your abilities, your skills, your failures. If you have failed, do you think you will always fail, that you are a failure! This is called Self-Fulfilling Prophecy. You declare your future by your past experience. We must make sure we have the right image of ourselves.

  • Set a clear goal and define the system: let's continue with the example of eating healthy, for many people eating healthy means not eating in the street, but for others it means not eating fried food, flour or sweets. So what is your clear goal, the WHY you do it.

    I leave you an example:
    I will create the habit of eating healthy because it makes me feel more energetic and lighter, this will help me to start exercises which will give me more vitality impacting positively on quality time with my children. Or perhaps, eating healthy will help me achieve the physical definition I desire or even give me more years of life.

HOW I will do it? is the system that we must create, that is, we must create small changes or movements that by doing them consistently will lead us to achieve our goal.

Example:
I will reduce to 1 time per week sweets and soft drinks, proteins will not be fried but baked or boiled, I will reduce meals in the street to 1 per week and I will have 2 snacks a day to avoid binge eating or temptations to snack on sweets. I will increase my intake of fruits and water, I will avoid liquors for 2 months.

I hope you get my drift. A Super TIP that takes me to go the extra mile is "focus on the system not the goal" you've heard the famous phrase focus on the process not the result, well it's the same, maybe in another post I'll go deeper into this.

  • Visualize yourself reaching the goal: the brain does not know how to distinguish between what is true or false, so put your mind to fly and visualize how you would feel if you achieve it, what you would do, if you even lost some kilos by eating healthy reward yourself by buying some clothes or maybe eating something delicious, imagine how that dish looks like or how you will look with the new look.

These are just ideas for you to put your imagination in ON mode.

These 3 elements were key in my start to establish new habits and are the result of much trial and error, I concluded that the previous preparation is as important as the race itself and is non-negotiable, are you ready?

Small changes - Big victories

The good thing about the changes is that you don't need money to make them, you don't need profession, you don't need experience, you don't need other people, you don't need to buy anything, you don't need much time, it only depends on you, your self-love, your character and your FAITH to reach those longed dreams, a low price for the gratification and the results you will get.

Remember that we all face challenges throughout our lives, the experience taught me a fundamental lesson: positive changes that at first may seem small and insignificant, will transform into #extraordinary results if we have the #discipline to maintain them for several years.

We often dismiss small changes because they don't seem to matter much at any given time. If you go to the gym three days in a row, you're not going to get in shape. We start small changes in our routines but because the results don't come immediately; it frustrates us, disillusions us and leads us back to our old routines.

Unfortunately, the pace of transformation is slow and makes it very easy to go back to our bad or poor habits. If I eat an unhealthy dish today, the scale isn't going to register a very drastic change, so it's easy to overlook one small bad decision, and then another and another.

Focus on improving 1% every day and don't fall into the 1% trap. Numbers don't understand intentions, in the end the result will be rewarding or devastating and it didn't happen overnight, it happened 1% by 1%.

5 years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us.
