Mohammed Salah is now the undisputed African premier league King

We will looking at 5 highest goalscoring African playing in the premier league

Yakubu ayegbeni

He was born in Nigeria and won over 57 caps for the super eagles scoring 21 time s over a decade long international career. He is the third highest goalscoring in the history of the Nigerian national team

He scored over 96 premier league goals for English clubs Portsmouth, Middlesbrough, Blackburn rovers and Everton.

His €12 million move from Middlesbrough to Everton which was a then world record move for Everton gave him recognition, He scored over 25 goals for the toffees.

He retired in November 2017 after leaving convetry city by mutual consent. A fine player he was.

Emmanuel Adebayor

He was born in Togo and he is the sparrow hawks record goalscorer netting 32 goals.

He has scored 97 premier league goals with over 4 premier league clubs namely Arsenal, Manchester city, Tottenham and crystal palace.

One of the few players to play for Arsenal and Tottenham though he completed a €25 million move to Manchester city and a loan move to Real Madrid before going to spurs.

Sadio mane

He was born in bambari, Senegal, he has recorded over 26 goals in 76 appearances for the lions of Teranga, He was runner up at the 2019 African cup of nations.

His £34 million move from Southampton to liverpool in 2016 to play under Jurgen klopp rose him to prominence, He won the 2018/19 premier league golden boot, The premier league trophy in 2019/20 and the champions league. He ranked fourth in the 2018 ballon d'or and the 2019 African footballer of the year.

He has scored 100 premier league goals for liverpool and Southampton in over 237 appearances for both clubs.

Didier Drogba

Arguably one of my favorite players growing up, Didier yves Drogba was born in ivory coast winning over 105 caps while scoring 65 times for Les elephants.

He joined Chelsea over 2 spells, He joined from Marseille in a then record deal for €24 million to join Chelsea and scored 100 premier league goals in the first run, He made a king's return in 2014, he signed from galatasaray on a free transfer and signed a one year deal scoring 4 goals.
He scored over 104 premier league goals over his 2 spells in England with Chelsea

Mohamed salah

He was born in Egypt and has won over 73 caps for his country and scored 45 goals, He represented his country as they were runner up to the 2017 African cup of nations.

He has had 2 spells in England with liverpool and Chelsea.

He made a €11 million move from Basel to Chelsea and scored 2 goals for blues but he was constantly sent on loan until moving permanently to AS Roma in 2016.

Liverpool made a then €37 record move for Salah in 2017 and he has scored an astonishing 105 premier league goals in 154 games for the reds. Quite amazing.
