My 3Speaking Today

Hey, what's up, players! Have a happy day everyone. From here I welcome you to another one of my Warioland II gameplays for the Game Boy Color, in this already gameplay number 15 of the Wario series that I am carrying out on my 3Speak channel : ) . Today we move on to a new chapter of the Warioland II story, that being chapter IV, so today we will have to face a very powerful Boss of the game. Just as the title of today's gameplay announces, we have to defeat the Giant Bee, which is the main guardian of the Maze Woods in Warioland. And the truth is, although it may seem in the video that I managed to defeat her on the first attempt, allow me to tell you that this is not the case. I was actually only able to defeat her after several attempts, since she possesses an attack strategy that can truly make you lose a lot of your time while playing. Every time the Giant Bee manages to sting you and deal damage, this causes Wario to immediately transform into his Puffy Wario form, and in this form we lose control and drift floating away towards an upper platform whose only exit leads us to a part of the level very far from the Giant Bee's lair.

We Continue Depending on the Puffy Form. Throughout the entire course of this level we had to keep using the Puffy Wario Form due to the fact that only in this form were we able to reach certain platforms of the level and manage to increase our coin loot, preparing ourselves as always to have the greatest number of coins for the game at the end of the level and thus be able to unlock another part of the final portrait. This level presented in this Story 5 was riddled with Bees, all of this as a foreshadowing of what we would have to face further ahead, that being its Boss, the Giant Bee.

Pay Attention to the Details. Details and being very observant are truly important in this game, and this is something fascinating taking into account that this is nothing more than a long-standing 2D platforming game. We say this because in many areas if we are not paying attention to for example the details on the ground we can miss important passages of the level, just as happens in the gameplay at around minute 03:32 where we find a small hole in the ground that leads us to an underground area of the level where we can find among many things the room to obtain the additional treasure of the level, a treasure which by the way I failed to obtain : / so for this time I am sorry, players.

Defeating the Giant Bee. What is truly complicated when it comes to defeating this Boss turns out to be, as I mentioned in the first paragraph of this post, avoiding being stung by her or by her henchmen or smaller bees that support the Giant Bee, since upon transforming into Puffy Wario you will lose control and will have to traverse a large part of the level again to get back to the Giant Bee's lair and try to defeat her from scratch. The trick here lies in: 'crouching with the down arrow at all times with Wario to avoid being stung, and thus calculating the exact moment to jump on the Giant Bee's head when she descends, managing in this way to deal damage to her on 4 occasions'.

Players, pay close attention to the great cinematics starting from minute 10:00 of the gameplay where we are shown how we continue on the trail of the Black Sugar Gang and how we move on to a new level of the game. Thank you for your attention today and as always for the support you have given to the channel ❤🔶

The Warioland II giant bee fight is a perfect pick for a retro episode, and showing the defeat strategy makes the vid useful whether you played it back then or just discovered it.
