Esta historia inicia así, hace ya un tiempo un familiar le comento a mi hermanito sobre un juego con el que podía generar ingresos, eso lo motivo y decidió jugarlo. Se llama Runescape, es un videojuego de rol. Cada jugador tiene un avatar y debe adquirir experiencias en diferentes habilidades. Puedes pelear con monstruos o con otros jugadores.

This story begins like this, some time ago a family member told my little brother about a game he could generate income with, that motivated him and he decided to play it. It's called Runescape, it's a role-playing game. Each player has an avatar and must acquire experience in different skills. You can fight with monsters or with other players.

Mi hermanito descargo el juego y creo la cuenta para eso lo ayudo nuestro familiar ya que tenía que hacer una serie de pasos que el desconocía.

My little brother downloaded the game and created the account for it. Our family helped him because he had to do a series of steps that he didn't know about.

Inicio jugando y a los pocos días me propuso que lo ayudara, ya que para lograr aumentar las experiencias debía invertir tiempo de juego. A mí no me gustaba en absoluto el juego me parecía súper aburrido sin embargo por apoyarlo accedí a jugarlo. Hacíamos dos tandas de juego. La primera empezaba desde las 2pm hasta las 2am y la segunda desde las 2am hasta las 10am jugábamos cerca de 20 horas diarias. Mientras yo dormía el jugaba y viceversa, así estuvimos por varios meses. Logramos subir varias habilidades, yo hacía estrictamente lo que él me indicaba y ya luego lo poquito que a mí me gustaba; aunque la verdad es que nunca llegué a sentirme atraída por el juego, me animaba ver algunas armas de otros jugadores que por lo general obtenían siendo miembros sin embargo no bastaba con eso sino para usarlas debías tener una experiencia alta en alguna habilidad entonces podía comprarla siendo miembro y la guardaba mientras lograba subir la experiencia 😭.

I start playing and after a few days he proposed me to help him, since to achieve to increase the experiences I had to invest time in the game. I did not like the game at all, it seemed to me super boring, however, I agreed to play it for support. We played two rounds of games. The first one started from 2pm to 2am and the second one from 2am to 10am we played about 20 hours a day. While I slept he played and vice versa, and we stayed that way for several months. We were able to upload several skills, I did strictly what he told me to do and then the little I liked; although the truth is that I never felt attracted to the game, I was encouraged to see some weapons from other players that usually were obtained by being members, however this was not enough, to use them you had to have a high experience in some skill so I could buy it as a member and I kept it while I was able to upload the experience 😭

Recuerdo que una de las cosas que más odie era matar vacas pasaba horas y horas pulsando un botón para disparar flechas que mataban las vacas, lo recuerdo y me parece increíble haber invertido tiempo en eso, mi hermano era más osado y se iba a un lugar peligroso dónde habían jugadores con mayor experiencia que te mataban para quitarte todo lo que llevabas y no había manera de ganarles ya que eran más experimentados el emprendía una huída que era todo un estrés corría lo más rápido que podía mientras yo gritaba jajajajjaja como locaaaa indicándole derecha izquierda mas rapidoooo y el pulsando botones como loco una vez mi desespero era tanto que desconecte el internet jajajajajajaja para evitar que lo mataran, y al volver a conectarlo había alguien cerca y con un hechizo basto para matarlo, una frustración total.

I remember that one of the things I hated the most was killing cows, I spent hours and hours pressing a button to shoot arrows that killed the cows, I remember that and it seems incredible to me to have invested time in that, my brother was more daring and went to a dangerous place where there were players with more experience who killed you to take everything you had and there was no way to beat them because they were more experienced he undertook a flight that was all a stress ran as fast as he could while I shouted like crazy right left faster and pressing buttons like crazy once my despair was so much that disconnected the internet jajajajajajaja to avoid being killed, and when he reconnected it there was someone nearby with a coarse spell to kill him, a total frustration.

Esta experiencia la vivimos durante unas vacaciones al final terminamos abandonando el juego. Para mí algo andaba mal, invertimos mucho tiempo en algo sumamente aburrido para lograr obtener oro que era lo que daría la ganancia y lo peor de todo era que al cambiar ese oro podías perder la cuenta eso indicaba que al perder la cuenta debias comenzar desde 0 para mí era algo que no valía la pena.

We lived this experience during a vacation and ended up abandoning the game. For me something was wrong, we invested a lot of time in something extremely boring to get gold which was what would give the profit and the worst thing was that by changing that gold you could lose the account that indicated that by losing the account you had to start from 0 for me was something that was not worth it.

No sé cuánto tiempo ha pasado exactamente desde que comenzamos a jugar, estoy segura que fue hace más de un par de años, pues hace tres meses mi hermanito retomo el juego, afortunadamente logro encontrar la clave y acceder a la cuenta, con la grandísima diferencia que en esta oportunidad invirtió tiempo en estudiar acerca del juego y ha sido una gran y notoria diferencia, ahora con una visión clara invierte igual mucho tiempo en el juego con la diferencia que lo disfruta, a pesar de sus gráficos feos todo tiene un sentido, ya monetiza y lo mejor de todo es que no pone en riesgo su cuenta. Ahora solo reímos de las locuras que hacíamos y sin duda de todo el tiempo mal invertido, ahora sí compra y usa las armas que quiere. Antes pasábamos horas pulsando un botón para que el avatar cortará madera invertiamos más de 6 horas en esa actividad 😟 de verdad que era la cosa más horrible y aburrida de la vida jajajajajajajaja que locura, y como esa otras tantas cosas más locas, por desconocimiento en aquella oportunidad no llegamos a nada.

I don't know exactly how long it has been since we started playing, I am sure it was more than a couple of years ago, because three months ago my little brother took up the game again, fortunately he managed to find the key and access the account, with the big difference that in this opportunity he invested time in studying about the game and it has been a great and notorious difference, now with a clear vision he invests the same amount of time in the game with the difference that he enjoys it, despite its ugly graphics everything has a meaning, he already monetizes and the best of all is that he doesn't put his account at risk. Now we only laugh at the crazy things we used to do and no doubt all the time badly invested, now he does buy and use the weapons he wants. Before we spent hours pressing a button so that the avatar would cut wood we invested more than 6 hours in that activity 😟 really was the most horrible and boring thing in life hahahahahaha than madness, and like that many other crazier things, for lack of knowledge in that opportunity we did not get anywhere.

De esto nos quedó una gran lección y es que para todo debemos estudiar e investigar sino lo más seguro es que perderás tiempo y no llegarás a nada o como muchos trabajarán el doble o incluso mucho más por desconocimiento.

From this we have a great lesson and it is that for everything we must study and investigate but the most certain thing is that you will lose time and you will not arrive at anything or as many will work double or even much more for ignorance.

Y vaya un consejo para las personas que se inicien porque se que al principio uno lo hace por el hecho de generar dinero, sin embargo todo lo que hagamos requiere tiempo y dedicación para que valga la pena desde asegurar la cuenta hasta entender como se debe jugar de lo contrario lo único seguro que pasará es que perderás la cuenta y con ella todo el tiempo que invertiste.

And here's some advice for people who are starting out because I know that at first you do it for the sake of generating money, but everything we do requires time and dedication to make it worthwhile from securing the account to understanding how to play otherwise the only sure thing that will happen is that you will lose the account and with it all the time you invested.
