Hive Open Mic Week #107: Stronger by Kelly Clarkson - Cover by/de @Peaq (ENG-ESP)
When I think of the term brave or bravery, what comes to my mind is the ability to be ready to endure or face unpleasant situations without expressing fear but by showing courage.
Different situations of life come to us when we least expect them while some are expected. However, we require a lot of courage to face these situations head-on.
It could be in your job or workplace, in your platonic and non-platonic relationships, in your desire to change your career path or acquire a new skill or explore your talent or even try out new things. There is always a need for us to carry on with bravery and most importantly a brave mind.
A brave mind in this context is a mind that beyond the fears they may face or anticipate, still choose to display courage in that situation and face it head-on regardless. Indeed, it is not always easy but it is worth it in the end.
Looking at the theme for this week, I had a particular song in mind. The moment I sang the chorus I was like ‘Yes'! This is perfect. The song showcases strength and courage. The willpower to face unpleasant and uncomfortable situations and still forge ahead regardless of what is anticipated.

Cuando pienso en el término valentía o coraje, lo que me viene a la mente es la capacidad de estar dispuesto a soportar o afrontar situaciones desagradables sin expresar miedo, sino mostrando coraje.

Una mente valiente, en este contexto, es una mente que, más allá de los miedos que pueda enfrentar o anticipar, sigue eligiendo mostrar coraje en esa situación y enfrentarla de frente. De hecho, no siempre es fácil, pero al final merece la pena.
Al ver el tema de esta semana, tenía en mente una canción en particular. En el momento en que canté el estribillo pensé: "¡Sí!" Esto es perfecto. La canción muestra la fuerza y el coraje. La fuerza de voluntad para enfrentarse a situaciones desagradables e incómodas y seguir adelante independientemente de lo que se prevea.

For me as well, the chorus of this song mostly speaks to me.
It makes me feel like I am brave enough to take on life's challenges with the understanding that it would only make me stronger in the end.
And truth be told I believe life throws these things at us just to test us.
To see if we would succumb or stand tall.
