THE IMPORTANCE OF SAFETY
Safety is a way of being cautious and careful in every aspect of our lives. Being safety cautious safeguards our lives and that of our loved ones. Wether we are single or married, we should take precautions to prevent injury or accident.
Safety at school
School is a large environment, so students should be careful when playing around school premises. Such objects like stones, knives, bottles, blades should not be seen around school environment. Only playing objects like balls, tennisball, 🎾 basketball, volleyball etc should be used in the school. It's not safe to jump from class window to desks, benches, chairs and tables.
Safety at home
In our different homes, we make use modern gadgets than in the past years. Things like electric stove, boiler, iron, electric cooker, electric lantern, heater, microwave, gas cooker, generator etc are in much use today.
This things are useful if we are careful in using them. They can equally be dangerous even leading to death. As parents we should teach our children how to be safety cautious.
The spoilt electric boiler that nearly set my house on fire.
My experience days ago
I learnt in a hard way the IMPORTANCE of safety. I have been managing my electric boiler for sometime now. Two days ago I plugged it in a socket to boil water. Immediately I heard a deafening sound boom! It burned and ripped off the wire, the socket was on fire 🔥. Everywhere was smelling.
I called for help and my neighbors came and stopped the fire. Oh God, that was bad of me to keep procrastinating important things. I also bought new stove because the old one is leaking. To avoid problems, I got another.

In addition, stoves and generators should be refilled before using them. Candles must be carried with care. Keep anything that can easily catch fire like books, papers, clothes, etc away from you. Repair electrical faults in your switches, adaptors, etc immediately you noticed it.
In case of fire outbreak, call fire service office without delay. Finally, keep your environment clean and tidy it contributes to good health. Because Cleanliness is next to godliness.
