A tree tent......behind the scene

All I do is smile
Yes......smile because I never knew
It would happen this way
It was shocking
But a thing of immense Joy

After we had lived in sadness
I and my siblings
Without mom's presence
Due to a seemingly little misunderstanding
Which later escalated to a huge disagreement

We watched as mom dragged her luggages out
Our childhood was filled with terror and dread
With no motherly love, care and protection

We waited
The first years went by
Then two, three , four......
And off it went
16 good years went by
And we never did set our eyes on her

After we had all lose hope
Hope of every getting equal love from both parents
She came back
Not with much change though
Except for some strands of grey hair

We were happy and excited
Happy that she was back
But then more must be done go rekindle their love
My parent's love I mean

We built them a tree tent
In our little greenish garden
And watched them
Profess their love to each other As though they got married yesterday

The tree tent their favorite spot
Got them back together
Together in the circles of love and affection
No more separation nor divorce
