It was all over the new
Emergency news......
The earthquake was fast approaching our terrain
And we never expected that

South Equoror as that was the name of our little area
Had never been included
Yes, on the list of disaster affected areas

With the myth we've always nurtured
We proudly lived with no inch of fear
Fully convinced that the gods dwell amongst us

But then we heard a devasting news
There was gonna be a disaster
And South Equoror was shortlisted to be amongst the affected area

All and sundry were advised to evacuate the environment
But we were hesitant
Trusting the gods to be our shield as usual

But then we heard it
It was tumbling over
Just few miles away from us
It crossed the landmark and boundary
If it was really gonna happen
Then we're in for doom

It swallowed the first house
Then we knew we had to
Yes....we had to something
Escape orrrr die

"Quick action everyone"
The natural disaster agency echoed
The alarm bell chimed

We arrived the train station
Twisting ourselves through the overly crowded individuals
With panic and fear boldly written on our faces

We scurried and hurried
Into the train
Then it started it's journey
Our journey to safety

But I have at least learnt a lesson

All I see is a train station with people hurrying to get in through the entrance due to an emergency situation
