My Nephew goes to school at his tender age which is not proper!

Greetings to lovely homeedders

This morning I received a phone call that my nephew has started school. I was happy partially because the boy is too tender to start school.

Even though he talks does not mean that he is due for school at his age.

I suggested that this child should be homeschooled before attending days school. To me it became a problem.

And the most painful part of it is that this child is still on the breastfeeding process.

I informed my sister and my parents that the child should be weaned. They said he should go, I said okay, is up to you.

Please friends, in this situation what should be done?

Shouldn't the child be homeschooled? Shaai!

Seeing the proprietor for school materials was another issue. The materials like chairs, television, and the rest of the things should be paid for. All the materials required, the price was too exorbitant.

A child attending school when it is not the right time.
In my days, According to my grandparents they use to say that before a child is due for school, they test by raising the child's hand across the head to see if the hand has reached the other ear.

In our era it is not so. A child will not be 2 or 3 years before going to school.

This is where I can stop for today.

Tomorrow by God's Grace I am going to bring in another topic that will be beneficial for Homeschooling Parents, Children and teachers.

Thank you for reading my blog.

I am @peckypeace.

I think you have done the right thing to share your thoughts and concerns, but ultimately leave it with the parent to make their choice. It's not so much the education that's the issue with age, so much as the approach. So as long as the child is in a supportive environment, then they should be okay. Hopefully the parent will know soon enough if they aren't, especially if they are aware of potential problems.

Thank you @minismallholding for your brilliant comments. I have leave it with the parent to see if the child will be in supportive of the environment or not.

My issue is not education but with the child's age, he is too tender to start school.

Thank you I really appreciate.

I don't know how it works for schools where you are, but here we have what we call kindergarten (Australia) or nursery school (Britain) and it's more play based learning despite the name. I would hope this would be similar to what he would be experiencing at such a tender age. Here, many parents send their children more for socialising, as formal education isn't compulsory at this age. I know different places have different compulsory ages for starting school. Do you have that in your country? Depending on the state, it's 5 or 6 years of age here and 5 in Britain.

The child is not up to 5 years nor 6 years old. The child is just 11 month old.

This is very important, because parents are missing it in this aspect, thank you for sharing your thought, I think its the responsibility of the parent to take care of the child, let the child be of age before planning to take the child to school, imagine leaving your child in the care of another person that you don't know at a very tender age, it's not proper.

@peckypeace how old is the child now?
You know some working class mothers atimes may not have a capable hand to take care of their babies at home and therefore send the child to school immediately and resume their job after some months.

It all depends on the parents and their reasons, you have done your part and I do hope the child is in a good hand over there.

The child is not up to a year. Is just that he is growing fast.

Yes, the mother want to go into business that is why she is behaving that way.

Thank you @nkemakonam89 for your advice. I really appreciate.
