Hello, Good evening everyone on Hive learners Platform.
It's so astonishing to be active today, I thank God I am strong and hearty to be able to write and for the successful examination I had yesterday. Thank God for the break given for my brain to relax. Back to the featured contest of the week. I am excited to participating.

Going through my discord platform, I saw this very topic, that looks interesting and intriguing to me. Well, my response to this topic will be quite a different one. In my secondary days I wasn't social with other of my classmates, I was constantly on my own, I didn't talk, I didn't play. Therefore, I was known to be quite a student in my classroom. My secondary teachers and my fellow students knew me to be 'an easygoing person'. But back then, in my nursery school, I was known to be an easy dancer after much pressure was put on me, to join a group before my graduation. In my state, i was tempted to be seen if i would react, nothing was seen, senior students would come into the class and flogged everyone, i would be exempted and some people also wanted to be like me, which they didn't. I am a different kind.

Throughout my nursery and secondary days, I wasn't able to express myself as other students did, I don't know oh, I could not join sports, games, dancing group, debating club, singing group (this is my core area now).

Growing up, my eyes were open, and I could know where I can function well, and it gives me satisfaction even until now.
Sorry friends, I wasn't known for nothing in my nursery and my secondary school days.
Today, through the influence of great leaders in my denomination I am known to be a singer. To tell you that, to sing is not an easy task, it needs consistency before you can be to be able to be on stage to perform well. So, disappointing that I could not discover this potential in my secondary school days, I'm grateful I can do it now than I ever imagined. Gone are the days, I used to sing off-key in Sunday service and after the ministration, my director would caution me for singing nonsense and I felt bad about my nonsense singing. This did not stop me from singing, I determined to become a better version of myself in this area. I did, and the result came tangible. Today, I am a good singer.

Another thing, I am passionate about as I am growing up is 'teaching'. Yesterday, as God would like, I counseled the suppose husband and wife to be. While I was talking, the man asked me, are you a teacher? I said, I am a teacher by calling. He said, 'no wonder'. This is one of the indebted and hidden treasures that I grew up with, I could recall, it happened in my secondary school days but not in the classroom, then, I was very timid, I couldn't stand in front of my fellow pupils and the students to expressed myself as my teachers did when they teach, but I would return home, did the exact way my teachers did in the class. It used to be funny, imitating my teacher's sense of dressing and lots.

This featured contest has brought me memories of my past secondary school days.

This post is in response to hive learners featured contest, week 58 editions 2. Thank you for reading.

I love, I care, and I forgive.

I remain @peckypeace.

Interesting. I am so glad that you could develop into a singer, I am sure you would be so popular if you had developed that in secondary school.

Being teacher? Such blessing..

Hehe.. school life is so fun.. imitating teachers? We do that a lot.

Awwwwwn! You can sing🥰
Singing is never a small thing and it's not just the voice but the composure... that's why we have people using frog voice and they're making waves.

Let me go and check through you post to see if you had done a singing post before... I want to hear/see you sings
