Hi motors lovers..
How are you all today, I hope you are all in good condition and healthy, so you can carry out your usual activities.

Alright for today's post, I want to share an interesting incident on my motorbike, so that it can be an experience for all of us, so that this doesn't happen again.

The motor that I use now is the automatic type from the Honda manufacturer, namely the Honda Vario 150.
And two days ago it was damaged when suddenly my motorbike broke down in the middle of the road and I had to take it to the repair shop.

After arriving at the workshop and checking the engine, it turned out that the problem was in the radiator section caused by the dry condition of the radiator, because of this there was no other option to fix it, namely having to disassemble the engine.

When the radiator is left untreated, it can get worse, namely the radiator hose can break on the road due to overheating. You see, when the engine is hot, the radiator water boils,When the radiator water boils the pressure becomes high.

This causes the piston ring to be directly exposed to engine heat when it rubs against the liner on the cylinder block.

And at that time the motor will overheat and even worse can even make the piston lock.

As a result of overheating the engine because the radiator is dry, the piston can expand, when the piston begins to expand the effect is the movement of the piston is stuck.

Actually, that's not the only effect of the problem caused by a damaged radiator, another thing that often happens is that the water pump seal is damaged easily and water will quickly enter the engine.

If this happens then like what happened to me, there is no other way but to get off the machine which will definitely cost a lot of money.

Here are some tips from me to avoid damage due to dry radiators.

1.When you want to ride a motorbike, before leaving, first check the condition of the radiator water. Usually, the normal condition of the radiator fluid is at the upper dose, if the radiator water volume is already lower, it means that all you have to do is simply add the radiator water.

2.One way to find out if the engine is overheating, on an automatic motor equipped with an indicator feature that will light up if the engine is overheated, that's what we often ignore, including myself, hopefully this incident will be an experience for me and all of us.

3.Always pay attention to or replace radiator water for a maximum of 10,000 kilometers of usage at your subscription workshop, this is to prevent the entry of material deposits that cause clogged radiator lines.

Friends, one thing that is certain to prevent any damage to our vehicles is to always check the vehicle by doing routine maintenance.

That's a brief discussion from me regarding the problem of damage caused by damage to the radiator on our motorbike, hopefully it will be useful for all of us, thank you.
