Duolingo Anniversary + Aniversario Duolingo [Eng+Spa]
It is Tuesday night, already on the 19th of the month of March. My day has been very calm, which is normal with how calm I try to lead my #life. I have had little work today, which relaxes me, but it is not entirely good, because it implies less paid income. It's not bad if it's only occasionally, but I prefer the days that are a little more profitable.
I helped my brother a little with a couple of things around the house, and I tried to make a cake, without an oven, using a 'Bain Marie'. From the results I achieved, I guess I made some mistake with the amount of water used, so I'll have to keep practicing being able to do it right another time. As you can see, I've had a nice day.
Perhaps the only thing that surprised me was that I received a notification email that I was celebrating my anniversary as a user of a language #learning platform. I'm celebrating my anniversary on Duolingo.

Es la noche del martes, ya en el día 19 del mes de marzo. Mi día ha sido muy tranquilo, cosa que es normal con lo clamado que trato de llevar mi #vida. He tenido poco trabajo hoy, lo que me da relax, pero no es del todo bueno, porque implica menos ingreso de pago. No es malo si es solo de manera ocasional, pero prefiero los días que son un poco más rentables.
Ayudé un poco a mi hermano con un par de cosas de la casa, y traté de hacer una torta, sin horno, usando un ‘Baño de María’. Por los resultados que logré, supongo que cometí algún error con la cantidad de agua usada, así que me tocará seguir practicando para poder hacer bien en otra oportunidad. Como puedes ver, he tenido un agradable día.

I was surprised when I noticed the amount of time that has passed. In actuality, I should have a good handle on the #languages that I have registered in my account profile on this free language #course site. The reality is that I have not taken it seriously enough, so I barely do one lesson a day to keep the day counter, and that is not what is recommended.
I met people who in a matter of a few months already mastered a second or third language quite well. So the message, in addition to making me remember how I started using this learning platform, made me think about my failure of discipline.

Me sorprendí cuando noté la cantidad de tiempo que ha pasado. Ya a estas alturas yo debería manejar bien los #idiomas que tengo registrados en el perfil de mi cuenta en este sitio de #curso gratuito de idiomas. La realidad es que no me lo he tomado con la debida seriedad, por lo que apenas hago una lección diaria para mantener el contador de días, y eso no es lo que se recomienda.
Conocí gente que en cuestión de pocos meses ya dominaba bastante bien una segunda o tercera lengua. Así que el mensaje, además de hacerme recordar como comencé a usar esta plataforma de aprendizaje, me puso a pensar en mi falla de disciplina.
Además, me dio un poco de curiosidad averiguar sobre la evolución que ha tenido #Duolingo desde su fundación, y tuve la suerte de hallar una infografía de Línea de Tiempo que marca algunos hitos importantes.

When I started using the platform, I did so from its web version, even though the smartphone application already existed. Even today, I prefer to do the daily lesson from the computer than from the cell phone #App.
I guess it's a matter of taste, as well as the fact that I like working with a keyboard, and having a much larger screen. Anyway, with the passage of time, I have seen many of the elements that the image indicates introduced. Which makes me think more that I should get more serious and push myself to complete some of the courses seriously, instead of doing the minimum to avoid lose count of streaks of days.
Well, today's record has been very intimate for me, but I suppose there are days like that (personal smile). I say goodbye now, wishing you that you are well and that we can read again another time.

Cuando yo comencé a usar la plataforma, lo hice desde su versión web, a pesar de que ya existía la aplicación para teléfono inteligente. Incluso en la actualidad, prefiero hacer la lección diaria desde la computadora que desde la #App del celular.

Como sea, con el paso del tiempo he visto introducir muchos de los elementos que la imagen señala, lo que me hace pensar más en que debería ponerme más serio y presionarme para completar alguno de los cursos seriamente, en lugar de hacer lo mínimo para no perder el conteo de rachas de días.
