791 have passed since that Friday when the #quarantine was declared in #Venezuela due to the #COVID-19 #pandemic, more than two years have passed and really keeping the account is something that makes me question myself, but I guess for now I will keep doing it. I checked this date a bit in the #History to see if there were interesting things to record, and I saw several, from the appearance of a Marian invocation (Fatima) to an attack on Pope John Paul II in the 80s of the last century, really which had a great variety to choose from.
I decided on two events to center the day:
* Today is the World Day of Hospitalized Children. #WorldDayOfHospitalizedChildren
* Today, in 1854, Pedro Bonifacio Palacios "Almafuerte", a poet, teacher and journalist, was born in Argentina.
If you wonder what relationship I see between these two things, let me explain a little. First, the Day of the Hospitalized Child is a date that has been celebrated since 2014 in order to pay tribute to health personnel, families, teachers and volunteers who work to make hospitals more humane and ensure the rights of hospitalized children. Suffering from an illness or a condition that requires hospitalization is something stressful and problematic for anyone, but it is very hard for children, who need the support of their families, but it is also hard for parents and other relatives seeing their little ones sick or facing medical treatment while hospitalized. The idea of the date is to encourage, share hope for a speedy recovery and recognize the work of professionals and families who share all this.
Secondly, you can still ask yourself what this Argentine poet has to do with what I have said, but it happens that I read a couple of his sonnets when I was young and I fell in love with their message, I am referring to his Seven Medicinal Sonnets, specifically the second and third, which are entitled "Piu avanti!" and "Molto piu avanti!", in fact, the message of the first one that I mention is so vibrant and so good to give encouragement to fight that it fits well with that of giving courage or greater courage to those who must face a complicated situation, in fact I think that I am going to close the publication quoting the sonnet as such, I take this opportunity to wish you well and that we can read each other again another time.

791 han pasado desde aquel viernes en que se declaró la #cuarentena en #Venezuela por la #pandemia de #Covid19, ya han pasado más de dos años y de verdad que mantener la cuenta es algo que me hace cuestionarme, pero supongo que por ahora lo seguiré haciendo. Revisaba un poco esta fecha en la #Historia para ver si había cosas interesantes para el registro y vi varias, desde la aparición de una advocación mariana (Fátima) hasta un atentado al Papa Juan Pablo II en los años 80 del siglo pasado, de verdad que tenía una gran variedad para escoger.
Me decidí por dos eventos para centrar el día:
* Hoy es el Día Mundial del Niño Hospitalizado. #DiaMundialDelNinoHospitalizado
* Hoy, en 1854, nace en Argentina, Pedro Bonifacio Palacios "Almafuerte", poeta, maestro y periodista.
Si te cuestionas que relación le veo a estas dos cosas, deja que me explique un poco. Primero, el Día del Niño Hospitalizado es una fecha que desde 2014 se celebra con el fin de rendir homenaje al personal sanitario, familias, maestros y voluntarios que trabajan para humanizar más los hospitales y asegurar los derechos del niño hospitalizado. El estar padeciendo una enfermedad o una condición que requiera hospitalización es algo estresante y problemático para cualquier persona, pero resulta muy duro para los niños y niñas, que tienen la necesidad del apoyo de sus familias, pero es también duro para los padres y otros familiares el ver a sus pequeños en enfermedad o enfrentando tratamientos médicos estando hospitalizados. La idea de la fecha es dar ánimo, compartir esperanza para una pronta mejoría y reconocer la labor de los profesionales y las familias que comparten todo esto.
En segundo lugar, todavía puedes preguntarte que tiene que ver ese poeta argentino con lo que he dicho, pero sucede que yo leí de joven un par de sus sonetos y quedé enamorado de su mensaje, me refiero a sus Siete Sonetos Medicinales, en específico al segundo y al tercero, que se titulan "Piu avanti!" y "Molto piu avanti!", de hecho, el mensaje del primero que menciono es tan vibrante y tan bueno para dar ánimos de lucha que bien encaja con eso de dar coraje o mayor valor a quienes deben afrontar una situación complicada, de hecho creo que voy a cerrar la publicación citando el soneto como tal, aprovecho para desearte que estés bien y que nos podamos leer de nuevo en otra oportunidad.
