It's a Monday with very clear skies, the weather is cool, it's in general a good weather day, but still my electric service was failing, and recently the power came back on, so I'll try to run to publish the record of the day before I went offline again. In my current #Venezuela, you get used to accepting the inevitability that services will fail, they will always fail, you never know when they will fail, but you can be sure that they are much more likely to fail than to work, with each passing day The chances of failure are maintained and even worsened by the lack of maintenance and the refusal of the managers of public companies to reduce the ineptitude and corruption that have tainted all levels.

Prior to this date, which was celebrated for the first time in 2014, there was already 2010, when the International Day Against Nuclear Tests was celebrated for the first time, in addition to the fact that the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty is much older, it is from 1996, but it is unfeasible to achieve its implementation while several nuclear powers refuse to sign or comply with it.
Currently, when reviewing the news, one finds out that there are an estimated 12,705 #nuclear #bombs in the world ready to be used, that is more than enough to destroy the entire terrestrial layer, burn the skies and end with this planet back to the stage where it was a mass of lava floating in space. With the credible fears of the effects of these weapons, it is understandable that their regularization or elimination is sought, but once Pandora's box is opened, there is no way to close it completely, only the hope of being able to do something every day and work so that some of the leaders of humanity do not get a fit of madness and start an #atomic war that kills us all.
Watching the news from a few days ago, I feel my fears getting stronger, With #Russia's war against #Ukraine, in which Russia has had to withdraw in recent days, Putin's fury seems to have reached a dangerous level, leading to larger-scale recruitment and war preparation measures that have provoked protests and rejection in its population, in addition to once again making a threat to use tactical #nuclear weapons. I was surprised because I didn't know about that, but it turns out that atomic weapons can be created in such a way that their effective charge is small, smaller than the one that the United States detonated over Hiroshima, #Japan, during World War II, with what that while the destruction of the targeted city is assured, its residual effects would not be as long-lasting and the land could be safely reoccupied in less than a decade.
Faced with the threat of the use of nuclear weapons, it is no longer about experiments, a response came yesterday from a spokesman for the Biden administration, at the #US White House, in which he points out that this action would have terrible consequences for Putin's Russia, words that sound like a threat of retaliation against Russia by #NATO members if it launches or detonates a nuclear weapon in Ukraine territory that it has annexed in this war or of which it has not yet been able to take control.
Personally, I am worried about two things, on the one hand, I am not sure that Putin will be stopped by subtle threats, I think that he will end up dropping atomic bombs trusting that the West will prefer to sacrifice Ukraine and hand over that country completely instead of engage in a war that annihilates humanity, of which they are also a part. On the other hand, my country is an internationally recognized ally of Russia, which is why in the last military exercises this year our army competed with representatives of #Iran and Russia, in addition to the fact that it has been said that the high command is ready to serve a base on the continent for the Russian military forces, in exchange for an adequate economic payment (which is very likely to be stolen with the unleashed corruption that we suffer). It scares me that the corrupt Venezuelan leaders do not measure the risk and are willing to welcome even naval forces capable of nuclear launches in our waters, that would plunge us into a war against the main military force of our continent and could well end very badly for the population, not for corrupt politicians or military high command, as it is known that all of them have properties in several countries, billions of dollars in their accounts (of dubious legal origin) and have the means to escape disaster, those who would suffer the negative consequences of the war would be the common citizens, as always happens with all the wars that I can remember.
All this makes me feel that I should be grateful for every day of 'peace' that I currently have, despite the increase in personal insecurity, despite the destruction of our medical-health system, despite the continued destruction of our educational system, despite the destruction of our public services, widespread corruption, the migration of thousands of compatriots every month... despite all that, I must be grateful that the leaders we have not yet fully involved us in this international military conflict and this does not become a complete Third World War.
Anyway, I'm glad we're still alive, let's keep our minds as positive as possible and move on, I wish you well and that we can read each other again in the future.

Es un lunes con un cielo muy despejado, el clima es fresco y en general es un día de buen clima, pero aun así mi servicio eléctrico estuvo fallando y hace poco fue que regresó la electricidad, así que trataré de correr para publicar el registro del día antes de quedarme otra vez desconectado. En mi #Venezuela actual, te acostumbras a aceptar lo inevitable de que los servicios van a fallar, siempre van a fallar, nunca sabes cuando fallaran, pero puedes estar seguro de que es mucho más probable que fallen a que funcionen, cada día que pasa las probabilidades de fallo se mantienen e incluso empeoran por la falta de mantenimiento y la negativa de los gerentes de las empresas públicas a reducir la ineptitud y la corrupción que han manchado a todos los niveles.
Si me quedo atorado en el punto de las fallas, voy a agarrar una tristeza que ni te cuento, en fin, que en este día 927 de la #Cuarentena por el #Covid19, revisé las fechas de la #Historia y me encontré con una que me puso a pensar en lo pertinente que era:
El 26 de septiembre es el Día Internacional para la Eliminación Total de las Armas Nucleares, declarado por la #ONU en su Resolución 68/32 (5 de diciembre de 2013), una fecha dedicada a la promoción de la eliminación total de estas armas, tanto a través de campañas para concienciar al público, reunir apoyo de la opinión pública, y educar con los conocimientos al respecto de la amenaza que representan para la humanidad este tipo de armas de destrucción masiva indiscriminada y con efectos residuales que podrían hacer inviable la vida en nuestro planeta.
Previo a esta fecha, que se celebró por primera vez en 2014, ya se tenía la de 2010, cuando se celebró por primera vez el Día Internacional contra los Ensayos Nucleares, además de que el Tratado de prohibición completa de los ensayos nucleares es mucho más viejo, es de 1996, pero resulta inviable lograr su implementación mientras varias potencias nucleares se niegan a firmarlo o cumplirlo.
En la actualidad, al revisar las noticias, se entera uno de que se estima que hay en el mundo unas 12.705 #bombas #nucleares listas para ser utilizadas, eso es más que suficiente para destrozar toda la capa terrestre, quemar los cielos y acabar con este planeta hasta llevarlo de nuevo a la etapa en que era una masa de lava flotando en el espacio. Con los temores creíbles de los efectos de estas armas, es comprensible que se busque su regularización o su eliminación, pero una vez que se abre la caja de Pandora, no hay manera de cerrarla por completo, solamente queda la esperanza de poder hacer algo cada día y trabajar para que alguno de los dirigentes de la humanidad no agarre un ataque de locura y comience una #guerra atómica que nos mate a todos.
Viendo las noticias de hace unos días, siento que mis temores se hacen más fuertes, Con la guerra de #Rusia contra #Ucrania, en la que en días recientes Rusia ha tenido que replegarse, la furia de Putin parece haber llegado a un nivel peligroso, llevando a tomar medidas de reclutamiento y preparaciones de guerra a mayor escala que han provocado protestas y rechazo en su población, además de volver a realizar una amenaza de utilización de #armas nucleares tácticas. Me sorprendí porque yo no sabía de eso, pero resulta que las armas atómicas pueden ser creadas de tal manera que su carga efectiva sea pequeña, más pequeña que la que detonó Estados Unidos sobre Hiroshima, #Japon, durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, con lo que si bien se asegura la destrucción de la ciudad que sea blanco de ataque, sus efectos residuales no serían tan duraderos y la tierra podría ser ocupada de nuevo con seguridad en menos de una década.
Ante la amenaza de uso de armas nucleares, ya no se trata de experimentos, llegó ayer una respuesta de un portavoz de la administración de Biden, en la Casa Blanca norteamericana, en la que señala que esta acción traería consecuencias terribles para la Rusia de Putin, palabras que suenan como una amenaza de retaliación contra Rusia por parte de los miembros de la #OTAN si llega a lanzar o detonar un arma nuclear en territorio de Ucrania que ha anexionado en esta guerra o de los que no ha podido aún tomar control.
En lo personal, me preocupan dos cosas, por un lado, no estoy seguro de que a Putin lo detengan amenazas sutiles, creo que él va a terminar lanzando bombas atómicas confiando que occidente preferirá sacrificar a Ucrania y entregar ese país por completo en vez de enfrascarse en una guerra que aniquile a la humanidad, de la que ellos también son parte. Por otra parte, mi país es un aliado internacionalmente reconocido de Rusia, por lo que en los últimos ejercicios militares de este año nuestro ejército compitió con representantes de #Iran y Rusia, además de que se ha dicho que los altos mandos están dispuestos a servir de base en el continente para las fuerzas militares rusas, a cambio de un adecuado pago económico (el cual es muy probable que lo roben con la corrupción desatada que sufrimos). Me asusta que los dirigentes corruptos venezolanos no midan el riesgo y estén dispuestos a acoger incluso fuerzas navales con capacidad de lanzamientos nucleares en nuestras aguas, eso nos metería de lleno en una guerra contra la principal fuerza militar de nuestro continente y bien podría acabar muy mal para la población, no para los políticos corruptos o los altos mandos militares, pues es conocido que todos ellos tienen propiedades en varios países, miles de millones de dólares en sus cuentas (de procedencia legal dudosa) y cuentan con los medios para escapar del desastre, los que sufrirían las consecuencias negativas de la guerra seríamos los ciudadanos comunes, tal como siempre pasa con todas las guerras que puedo recordar.
Todo esto me hace sentir que debo agradecer cada día de 'paz' que tengo actualmente, a pesar del incremento de la inseguridad personal, a pesar de la destrucción de nuestro sistema médico-sanitario, a pesar de la destrucción continuada de nuestro sistema educativo, a pesar de la destrucción de nuestros servicios públicos, la corrupción generalizada, la migración de miles de compatriotas cada mes... a pesar de todo eso, debo agradecer que los dirigentes que tenemos no nos han metido aún de lleno en este conflicto militar internacional y esto no se convierte en una completa Tercera Guerra Mundial.
En fin, me alegra que sigamos vivos, mantengamos la mente lo más positiva que podamos y sigamos adelante, te deseo que tú estés bien y que nos podamos leer de nuevo en un futuro.

Me asusta que los dirigentes corruptos venezolanos no midan el riesgo y estén dispuestos a acoger incluso fuerzas navales con capacidad de lanzamientos nucleares en nuestras aguas, eso nos metería de lleno en una guerra contra la principal fuerza militar de nuestro continente y bien podría acabar muy mal para la población, no para los políticos corruptos o los altos mandos militares, pues es conocido que todos ellos tienen propiedades en varios países, miles de millones de dólares en sus cuentas (de procedencia legal dudosa) y cuentan con los medios para escapar del desastre, los que sufrirían las consecuencias negativas de la guerra seríamos los ciudadanos comunes, tal como siempre pasa con todas las guerras que puedo recordar.
Todo esto me hace sentir que debo agradecer cada día de 'paz' que tengo actualmente, a pesar del incremento de la inseguridad personal, a pesar de la destrucción de nuestro sistema médico-sanitario, a pesar de la destrucción continuada de nuestro sistema educativo, a pesar de la destrucción de nuestros servicios públicos, la corrupción generalizada, la migración de miles de compatriotas cada mes... a pesar de todo eso, debo agradecer que los dirigentes que tenemos no nos han metido aún de lleno en este conflicto militar internacional y esto no se convierte en una completa Tercera Guerra Mundial.
En fin, me alegra que sigamos vivos, mantengamos la mente lo más positiva que podamos y sigamos adelante, te deseo que tú estés bien y que nos podamos leer de nuevo en un futuro.
