Good afternoon!
This Saturday it rained early here, so the electrical service was failing and now in the afternoon the sky has cleared and stabilized, in addition to the fact that now my Internet signal is gaining some strength, so it's better I do the log of the day before something bad happens again. As a security measure and in case any of the services fails me, I will be writing it in parts, so if something bad happens, at least I will have left the record that we are still alive on this side of the screen on the day of today.

Este sábado llovió temprano por acá, así que el servicio eléctrico estaba fallando y ahora en la tarde es que se ha despejado el cielo y se ha estabilizado, además de que ahora es que mi señal de Internet está agarrando algo de fuerza, así que mejor hago la bitácora del día antes de que pase algo malo otra vez. Por medida de seguridad y en caso de que me falle alguno de los servicios, lo voy a estar escribiendo por partes, así, si sucede algo malo, cuando menos habré dejado la constancia de que seguimos vivos de este lado de la pantalla el día de hoy.

I'm going back to posting. Today there are several interesting dates in the ephemeris of #WorldHistory, but there is a particular commemoration that is associated with #Venezuela:
On October 15, 1865, Don Andrés Bello died in Santiago, Chile, at the age of 83 and, according to the registry, of natural causes. This Venezuelan native, later nationalized as a Chilean, was a journalist, historian, philosopher, writer, translator, poet, ambassador, grammarian, teacher, writer and legislator... Yes, I know that the list of things he did with his life seems long, but in truth he was an extraordinary man, from many points of view.
One of the things I remember most about Bello is that it was with the arrival of the printing press in Caracas (Venezuela) that he was the first director of the recently created 'Gaceta de Caracas', one of the first Venezuelan publications. He was a man who joined the independence cause of the colony in the face of the situation of the Napoleonic wars in Europe. He served as part of the first diplomatic delegation from Venezuela to England, but his stay in the United Kingdom was marked by economic hardship and many moments of uncertainty, since the First Republic of Venezuela was defeated and he was left in a rather delicate position, the Government of Spain had marked him as an enemy, and it could be said that he did not have peace of mind for years, in the face of the danger of ending up being handed over to Spain.
But another point to highlight, in addition to his ability to translate poetry, his handling of the classic authors of philosophy and literature that were studied in his time, in short, another thing to highlight is his analytical and careful mind, in fact, I am of those who believe that his study of the Spanish language under this form of thought was what made possible, already living in #Chile, the writing of a 'Grammar of the Castilian language destined for the use of the Americans' (1847), a work monumental in which he partially rewrote the rules in use for the grammar of the language, which was worth being considered the reference work par excellence, although the writing of the Grammar of Nebrija (1492) was the first of the Castilian language (which was imposed for centuries as the main language of the Spanish Crown) and was the first to study the grammatical rules of a Romance language, being considered one of the pieces for the linguistic-cultural-social unification of the Empire, being proposed from its presentation before the kings as a tool for the assimilation of people in the lands conquered during the Spanish Reconquest of the Iberian Peninsula.

The Grammar of Andrés Bello towards a new study of grammatical rules, spelling, verbal rules and conjunctions, of everything that had to do with the language, but focusing his work on the particular way that the descendants of the Spanish colonization in America used in the language. It could be suspected that by trying to overcome the work of Nebrija, Bello was also supporting the ideology of the independence of South America in a cultural, linguistic and ideological field, after all, language is the mental tool that allows us to define the world in that we live and build the social and human world in which we live.

Voy retomando la publicación. El día de hoy hay varias fechas interesantes en las efemérides de la #Historia mundial, pero hay una conmemoración particular que está asociada a #Venezuela:

Este nativo venezolano, nacionalizado luego como chileno, fue un periodista, historiador, filósofo, escritor, traductor, poeta, embajador, gramático, docente, literato y legislador... Sí, sé que la lista de cosas que hizo con su vida parece larga, pero en verdad que fue un hombre extraordinario, desde muchos puntos de vista.
Una de las cosas que más recuerdo de Bello, es que fue con la llegada de la imprenta a Caracas (Venezuela) él fue el primer director de la recién creada Gaceta de Caracas, una de las primeras publicaciones venezolanas. Fue un hombre que se sumó a la causa independentista de la colonia ante la situación de las guerras napoleónicas en Europa. Fungió como parte de la primera delegación diplomática de Venezuela ante Inglaterra, pero su estadía en el Reino Unido estuvo marcada por las penurias económicas y muchos momentos de incertidumbre, pues la Primera República de Venezuela fue derrotada y él quedó en una posición bastante delicada, el Gobierno de España lo había marcado como un enemigo y se podría decir que no tuvo tranquilidad durante años, ante el peligro de terminar siendo entregado a España.
Pero otro punto a destacar, además de su habilidad par traducir poesía, su manejo de los autores clásicos de filosofía y literatura que se estudiaban en su época, en fin, otra cosa más a destacar es su menta analítica y cuidadosa, de hecho, soy de los que creen que su estudio de la lengua española bajo esta forma de pensamiento fue lo que posibilitó, ya viviendo en #Chile, la redacción de una 'Gramática de la lengua castellana destinada al uso de los americanos' (1847), una obra monumental en la que parcialmente rescribía las reglas en uso por la gramática de la lengua, lo que le valía ser considerada la obra de referencia por excelencia, si bien la redacción de la Gramática de Nebrija (1492) fue la primera de la lengua castellana (que se impuso durante siglos como lengua principal de la Corona Española) y fue la primera en hacer el estudio de las reglas gramaticales de una lengua romance, siendo considerada una de las piezas para la unificación lingüística-cultural-social del Imperio, al ser propuesta desde su presentación ante los reyes como una herramienta para la asimilación de las personas en las tierras conquistadas durante la Reconquista Española de la Península Ibérica.
Vaya, me distraje y me fui por otro tema, regresemos al asunto. La Gramática de Andrés Bello hacia un nuevo estudio de las reglas gramaticales, de la ortografía, de las reglas verbales y de conjunciones, de todo lo que tenía que ver con el idioma, pero enfocando su obra en la manera particular que los descendientes de la colonización española en América empleaban en el idioma. Se podría sospechar que al tratar de superar la obra de Nebrija, Bello estaba también apoyando la ideología de la independencia de Sudamérica en un ámbito cultural, lingüístico e ideológico, después de todo, el lenguaje es la herramienta mental que nos permite definir el mundo en que vivismo y construir el mundo social y humano en que nos desenvolvemos.
Casi dejo por fuera un detalle también muy recordado, pero ya con todo lo que he dicho, creo que solamente voy a mencionarlo, Bello fue el Principal redactor del 'Código Civil de la República de Chile' (1856), se dice en algunos casos que prácticamente fue el único redactor, además de redactar también el 'Código Civil Colombiano' (1887), entre otras obras jurídicas monumentales. Fue también el impulsor de la creación de la Universidad de Chile, institución educativa superior de la que fue su Primer Rector y se desempeñó como tal hasta su muerte.
Bien, creo que por ahora puedo dejar el registro hasta este punto. He was a man who contributed a lot to his time and to posterity, the University he founded is still in operation, his legal codes served as the basis for a part of Latin America, and his study of grammar still reaches our days, I seem to remember that the Academy of the Spanish Language assumed it as the most detailed and elaborated, I think they took it from the 19th century.
