International Dance Day, is celebrated today in tribute to the birth of Jean-Georges Noverre, creator of modern ballet. Since classical times, #dance has been an expression of #art that captivates, that offers a way of expressing oneself through the body, a way of liberating and making contact, an art that communicates bodies.

Reviewing the ephemeris for today's record, I found a couple of things that caught my attention, but I also found it interesting to explain how I related them, you see, besides being #InternationalDanceDay: Today In 1970, the American actress Uma Thurman was born. Well... Why did I choose to mention this particular one out of all the births on this day? And what relationship am I seeing with dancing?
Día Internacional de la Danza, se celebra hoy en homenaje al nacimiento de Jean-Georges Noverre, creador del ballet moderno. Desde tiempo clásico el #baile es una expresión de #arte que cautiva, que brinda una manera de expresarse a través del cuerpo, una manera de liberar y de entablar contacto, un arte que comunica cuerpos.

Al revisar las efemérides para el registro del día de hoy, me encontré con un par de cosas que me llamaron la atención, pero también me pareció interesante explicar como fue que las relacioné, verás, además de ser el #DiaInternacionalDeLaDanza: Hoy, en 1970, nace la actriz estadounidense Uma #Thurman. Bien... ¿Por qué elegí mencionar de todos los nacimientos de este día este en particular? Y ¿Qué relación le estoy viendo con bailar?

Well, when I think of Thurman and dance, I can't help but bring to mind the scene in Quentin Tarantino's movie, "Pulp Fiction" (1994), in which she shares a dance with Travolta that really made a difference, today several of the scenes of the film have become Memes, such as Travolta looking for where they speak from.

Bien, cuando pienso en Thurman y la #danza, no puedo evitar traer a mi mente la escena de la #pelicula de Quentin Tarantino, "Pulp Fiction" (1994), en la que ella comparte un baile con Travolta que de verdad que marcó las cosas, hoy en día varias de las escenas de la película se han convertido en Memes, como el de Travolta buscando desde donde la hablan.

Although personally, I must admit that in his work with this same director, I have always liked his "Kill Bill" saga a little more, especially the sword fighting scene in which he wears a yellow suit in homage to Bruce Lee... Well, I just loved that part. Ok, it was a bit bloody, but come on, it's a #Tarantino #movie! For sure there would be epic violence!

Aunque en lo personal, debo admitir que en su trabajo con este mismo director, me ha gustado siempre un poco más su saga de "Kill Bill", en especial la escena de combate con espadas en la que viste un traje amarillo en homenaje a Bruce Lee... Pues, simplemente esa parte me encantó. Bien, fue algo sangrienta, pero vamos, es una película de Tarantino, de seguro que habría violencia épica.

Well that would be what I wanted to share on this day, day 777 since the presidential announcement in #Venezuela announcing the start of the #Quarantine due to the #Covid19 #Pandemic... a long time has passed, I see the number and it stands out for being a triplet, if I were playing on a slot machine I would be happy to see this because it would be what would make me a Jack Pot winner, in short, the number also reminded me of a movie character, but of a comedian Mexican, who as a child saw the movie and was always amused by its humor based on confusion, misinterpretations and a touch of naivety, I am talking about Super Agent 777 by Cantinflas, in the movie "The Unknown Gendarme" (1941, Original in Spanish is "El Gendarme Desconocido")

Bien eso sería lo que quería compartir en este día, día 777 desde el anuncio presidencial en #Venezuela en que se anunciaba el inicio de la #Cuarentena por la #Pandemia de #Covid19... largo tiempo ha pasado, veo el número y me llama la atención por ser un triplete, si estuviera jugando en una máquina tragamonedas estaría feliz de ver esto porque sería lo que me haría ganador del Jack Pot, en fin, el número también me ha hecho recodar un personaje de película, pero de un comediante mexicano, que de niño vi la película y siempre me causó gracia su humor basado en confusiones, malas interpretaciones y un toque de ingenuidad, hablo del Superagente 777 de Cantinflas, en la película "El Gendarme Desconocido" (1941)
