Es sábado, el día lo he pasado en calma y tranquilidad, a pesar de que hace poco una temporal perdida de servicio eléctrico me puso a correr, en lo que la electricidad regresó me puse a cocinar la cena y ahora que está lista, es que me pongo a redactar el registro de mi día, a pesar de que mi #vida diaria puede ser tan agradablemente calmada en muchos aspectos que en serio puede parecer aburrida, pero me encanta que sea de esa manera.
Siguiendo la forma en que normalmente yo publico sobre el día, escogí una efemérides que corresponde a la #Historia del día, y ya por el título del post y por la imagen te puedes enterar fácilmente de que va el registro de hoy, es sobre el Día Mundial de Leer a Tolkien. La obra de este escritor británico fue prolífica y se puede señalar que brindó una descripción detallada y verosímil de un mundo lleno de magia, criaturas fantásticas, razas diversas y héroes de todos los tipos y tamaños.

I like #fantasy works, although I must say that I like almost all kinds of #literature, I suppose it's because I really enjoy reading #books, but there are many authors that I really didn't know anything about, you can say that I lack broad referents to guide me in my search for texts. This is why I must confess that I did not know much about the fantastic work of J.R.R. Tolkien until I saw the #cinema announcements of the film that would be released, with a script based on his work "The Lord of the Rings".

Me gustan las obras de #fantasía, aunque debo decir que me gusta la #literatura de casi todo tipo, supongo que es debido a que disfruto mucho leer #libros, pero hay muchos autores de los que en verdad yo no sabía nada, se puede decir que me faltan referentes amplios que me guíen en mi búsqueda de textos. Es por esto que debo confesar que no sabía mucho de la obra fantástica de J.R.R. Tolkien hasta que vi los anuncios de #cine de la película que estrenarían, con un guion basado en su obra “El Señor de Los Anillos”.
Fue a partir de allí que me interesé en los libros y me encontré sorprendido por la gran cantidad de obras que Tolkien creó y desarrollo dentro de ese mundo de fantasía, es cierto que no es el único tipo de obras que publicó, pues como filólogo este autor publicó escritos académicos, análisis y otras obras, pero es cierto que es con sus obras fantásticas que se ha ganado la inmortalidad literaria.
Fue a partir de allí que me interesé en los libros y me encontré sorprendido por la gran cantidad de obras que Tolkien creó y desarrollo dentro de ese mundo de fantasía, es cierto que no es el único tipo de obras que publicó, pues como filólogo este autor publicó escritos académicos, análisis y otras obras, pero es cierto que es con sus obras fantásticas que se ha ganado la inmortalidad literaria.

Por cierto, a pesar del tiempo que tiene su obra de publicada, la celebración de la fecha es apenas del Siglo XX, más específicamente, se celebra desde 2003, que fue el año en que la Sociedad Inglesa de Tolkien la propuso y le dio inicio. Esta sociedad, al igual que la de lectores de Tolkien en distintos países del mundo, decidió celebrar la obra del autor y enaltecer los aspectos que más despertaran pasiones en sus miembros, ya sea por la lectura de fragmentos de los libros, dramatizaciones, Juegos de Rol, ciclos de proyecciones de las adaptaciones fílmicas de los libros (acompañada de una discusión sobre las diferencias con el libro original), o incluso con la creación de obras de arte plástico, dancístico o musical.

La destrucción del anillo conllevó el fin de la Tercera Edad, el progresivo ascenso de los humanos como raza primordial y el retiro de los últimos reinos elfos, que abandonaron el continente para no volver. Fin e inicio, destrucción y ascenso, es una fecha que marca todo eso y conmemora también a los héroes de ese mundo de fantasía.
Por cierto, que a mí me gustaron bastante las adaptaciones al cine de la obras, y creo que la parte épica de Aragorn llevando a los fantasmas a la batalla es una cosa que no voy a olvidar en mucho tiempo.
Bien, eso sería todo por hoy, te deseo que tú estés bien y que nos podamos leer de nuevo en otra oportunidad.
