World Brownie Day + Día Mundial del Brownie [Eng+Spa]
I have had a very relaxed Saturday, although there are some problems that I cannot solve at the moment, it is time to apply the old rule, that 'if it cannot be avoided, then it is better to prepare to accept'. Anyway, it's not something that hits me directly, but it's a family member's problem, and it really hurts not to be able to do anything to help, just pray that things turn out well for them.

He tenido un sábado muy relajado, a pesar de que hay algunos problemas que no puedo resolver en este momento, toca aplicar la vieja regla, de que ‘si no se puede evitar, entonces es mejor prepararse para aceptar’. En fin, no es algo que me golpee directamente, pero es un problema de un familiar y de verdad duele no poder hacer nada para ayudar, solo rogar que las cosas le salgan bien.
Pasemos mejor a un tema más relajado y agradable, que trata sobre la efeméride de la #Historia de hoy, que vuelve a ser una celebración sobre #comida, y nuevamente se trata de un tipo de #pastel o #torta, pues es el día de celebrar algo muy #dulce y achocolatado. Hoy, 11 de noviembre, es el ‘Día Mundial del Brownie’.

The current celebration is born from the initiative of the blog "The Cookie Monster", which in November 2012 proposed to its followers to celebrate this particular sweet on that date. I have no idea about their motivations, but I don't deny that any excuse is a good one to celebrate, and even more so if what is being celebrated is something that has chocolate (personal smile).
Curiously, when reviewing the origin of the #Brownie, I found several references that indicate that it was the product of a lucky mistake, since (in 1897) the chef Walter Catalán prepared a classic #Chocolate cake, but forgot to put yeast in it, despite from that, he decided to bake the mixture and upon completing it, he discovered that, although the dough did not rise, nor did the crumb typical of that type of #dessert form, he did have an interesting product.

No tengo idea de sus motivaciones, pero no niego que cualquier excusa es buena para celebrar, y más aún si lo que se celebra es algo que tiene chocolate (sonrisa personal).

It was a type of dessert with a thin crunchy shell, a moist interior, and a delicious flavor. I don't know if this is really the case or if it is like the legend of the 'Newton's Apple' and its influence on the studies of Universal Gravitation, but I do admit that the story is interesting and gives a particular touch to this candy.
Knowing that I love chocolate, even though with age you should not watch your sugar consumption so as not to overdo it, I can assure you that I will try to get some of these sweets these days to share at home. Se trataba de un tipo de dulce con una delgada cubierta crujiente, un interior húmedo y un sabor delicioso. No sé si en verdad esto es así o es como la leyenda de la ‘Manzana de Newton’ y su influencia en los estudios de la Gravitación Universal, pero sí admito que la historia es interesante y le da un toque particular a este dulce.
Sabiendo que me encanta el chocolate, a pesar de que con la edad no debe vigilar el consumo de azúcar, para no exagerar, puedo asegurar que procuraré hacerme de unos de estos dulces en estos días para compartir en casa. Bien, sé que estoy dejando la nota en corto, pero me disculpo y ya mañana procuraré crear un post más rico, bueno, este está en cierta manera rico con lo del Brownie, pero ya sabes a qué me refiero.
Te deseo que estés bien y que nos podamos leer de nuevo en otra oportunidad.
