Back to my childhood park and the art school.

All my childhood and adolescence I lived in front of this park, which was like my own backyard.

In this “castle” there is an art school. I got to study here as a child but I was expelled for bad behavior.

If it were just drawing and painting I would have behaved well but the alternative activities made me freak out and make a mess.

Once, the proposal was to place colored aniline of different colors inside transparent bladders and then combine them on the floor creating mosaics of colored balls.

In the end, we couldn't resist and I and other impassioned students started throwing these balloons up so they would hit the stone floor, blowing up, letting all the content spread and creating colorful blots on the ground. This game led to my expulsion.

For a long time I felt ashamed due to this attitude of mine, but remembering now I believe that the failure was of the teacher. The dynamics of the class would be perfect if the climax was to burst the balloons, generating explosions of colors against some surface. It would be a golden outcome.

Besides, I've heard that the essence of art is rebellion. It was irresistible. There was simply no way to comply with the orders not to throw the balls, we needed at all costs to release the colors.

Another thing I loved about this park was playing with my friends in two caves that exist there.

The largest cave is full of stalagmites and it is possible to walk through narrow dark corridors.

In the smaller one, which is built (not a natural cave), there are several aquariums with exotic fish inside.

This time I took my daughter to see where I played when I was a kid and she loved it. He made many friends in this playground and spent hours there having fun.
