Cutting and sewing of a one hand shoulder jumpsuit for my baby girl

Hi hivers

Season greatings to you all,how are you all doing, hope you had a blissful and wonderful night.

It my pleasure to meet you all in this great and loving community @DiyHub and i am here to share with you all on how i cut and sew this beautiful jumpsuit for my baby girl which is my first time in trying this style.

I always liked this outfit style each time i see people wearing it, i didn't know how and where to start, untill when i get close to my friend and discovered that the cutting has two sides, the half length and the trouser length, so i had this fabric that was given to me by my mother so i decided to use it and try if i will be able to sew it, since i haven't sew this jumpsuit style before, i needed a cardboard or brown paper for cutting because i didn't want to use the fabric to avoid mistake because the fabric wasn't enough for me so i didn't want to waste it, fortunately i couldn't found any of the cardboard nor brown paper at the nearby shops and i couldn't go far because i was having an headache. So as i return home i decided to used the fabric because i didn't have any other choice and i was extremely careful.

I started by folding the fabric into two equal parts, i firstly measured out her shoulder, then i measured her body and decided them by four and i make sure i have her body shape, after drafting i cut it out, after cutting the half length out i moved to the shoulder and i measured from the shoulder neck line and slint down to other shoulder point just to have the one side off shoulder and the other side normal shoulder, after finishing with half length i move to the trouser part, i folded the fabric again i measured the trouser full length, i also measured out the waist, the crotch length and the hips, the i put in 2 inches allowance because i needed it to be a little free, after finishing with the front cutting, i folded the fabric again into two i placed the front on it and i put in 1and the half inches and cut it out.
After finishing with the cutting i went ahead and turn the half length with lining after turning with lining, i hold a straight dart and sew.

After turning with lining i hold the dart

After that i join the trouser together, after joining them together i went ahead and cut the sleeves by folding the fabric into two and measurd out the length and the round bending, the i decided to put a fley on the hem of the sleeves.

After cutting the sleeves

And i also cutout the flay

Then i joined the flay on the sleeves hem and join it together

Here is the outcome of it

I hope you love the outcome of it.

Thank you all for reading and commenting.
