The step by step process of how to make a two pieces dress.
Hello needlework.
Happy and blissful needleworkmonday to you all and happy new month, how are you all fairing today and how was your weekend, hope everything goes perfectly fine, nice to meet you all again in this amazing needleworkmonday community, so I'm here to share with you all on the step by step process of how to make a two pieces dress.

My best customer brought this beautiful Ankara fabric two weeks ago, I was about traveling to my village she told me it's a traditional marriage uniform and she needed pieces dress, two side rush shirt and a Palazzo's trouser, so I collected the fabric and keep, it's a beautiful and soft fabric.

So I came back so I to complete the remaining dress I kept, the marriage was on the last Saturday of May which was last month, so I started the cutting process, starting with the shirt.
I folded the fabric by two, so I took the full length of the shirt and I took the the shoulder divided by two, then I took her burst measurements divided by four and I took it down, so I also took the arm hold, and I cut it out then I cut out the back neck as well.
After cutting the back side out I quickly folded the fabric again by two and I placed the back side on it, I added 2 inches for the front buttons bending and cut out the neck part and the body too.

I quickly moved ahead to the trouser's cutting, I folded the fabric by two I drafted the full length and the flab length, so I divided the waste by four and I added an extra 4 inches for the elastic gathers, so I then took what I have at the waste for the flap length and I divided the lap measurements by two and I added an extra 1.5 inches for the crutch extension so I took from the crutch extension down so the palazzo will be very free as desires.
Finishing with the front cutting I then placed it on the remaining fabric on fold, I then go up by 2.5 for the back waste, I added 2 inches for the waste part and 4 inches for the back crutch extension, so I added 2 inches for the back body part, then I cut it out.

Finishing with all the cutting I now start with the trouser's sewing, I put the two side front slant pocket and joined the back and the front side flap then I joined the front and the back together and quickly joined the crutch extension too.

So I cut out the waste band and iron it probably then I stitched and top stitched it carefully so I kept a small space for the elastic trap then I used the safety pin and insect the elastic on it.

So I'm quickly done with the trouser and start sewing the shirt, I iron the button's bending carefully and top stitched the both side, then I joined the body then I cut out the two sides sleeves and bend the down hem then i joined together.

And I also cut out the collar and fixed it probably then I bend the down hem and the side rush trap then i cut the four pieces of roop and stitched them properly then i used a safety pin and insect them very well.

Here is outcome of the two pieces.

The outcome is so beautiful and nice, i was so excited that i was able to deliver in time because there was a lots of work to finish and deliver, well, somenof them was so simple but i tried my nest to finished them, my client was so excited too, although she brought the fabric earlier, thank to her for understanding, she love the dress and it look really njce on her, hope tou like it.
