ALBION, the best mmo where you create your own story(meme) | Enjoying with friends.
These last few days have been good and bad, but most of the things that have happened to me have been good. My friends made me come back to one of my favorite MMO's, it's a game that for me never dies, and even less in the company of my best friends.

I don't remember how many times I have talked about Albion in my Blog, I only know that I think I have written about this magnificent game more than once. A few days ago they announced the new season of Albion, which brought with it a lot of new content, gigantic changes in gameplay and some balancing to weapons that were not fair.

One of the changes that caught my attention, at least the one I noticed the most, is the implementation of biomes in the middle of another biome. I mean, there are regions where snow reigns, others where the swamps are spread all over the land, others where the hot desert and sand abound, before that, the biomes were flat, you only saw sand if the region was sandy, visually it was not too attractive, even it did not seem that the design team had made an effort, as sometimes a map seemed copypaste of another. Right now the maps have two interesting things: one of those things the expansion of these maps. The maps are now much more extended, which means that in order to travel from one city to another, you have to travel a lot, you can take up to 30 minutes traveling from one place to another, which makes the game somewhat realistic, at least to me it seems to be something very positive. The other interesting thing about the maps is the appearance of new biomes, which I explained before. Now in a swamp map there can be new flora and fauna, plus they added many more mobs around the map, this makes the game much more alive.

This is just one of the few changes that the game has for this season. For me the changes are very positive, it takes the game away from being super repetitive, it makes the players have a lot more content to enjoy, a lot more things to do.

The change to maps is only a part of the changes, the balances are also a small part. I am surprised that the internal market of the game still works so well, even the prices of the items are now much higher, which makes the player to create several methods of economy to be able to prosper (in Albion there are too many ways to make money). For those who are not aware of how Albion works, basically the player should not get attached to his items, because every item is disposable, if you die, you lose everything and you will have to reequip again. To optimize your economy, you must first upgrade the power of a build that you like, after maximizing it, you will be able to upgrade any other build very easily. I don't know how long my new adventure in Albion will last, probably if my friends keep playing, my journey will last a long time, that excites me. If they decide to leave, I should probably leave too, I don't enjoy being alone in Albion too much.
Speaking of not enjoying being alone, my ARCH friends beat me when I was enjoying a nice ride on my horse, thanks noobs.

All these changes are very positive, although it has its downside. My Hardware despite being good, with the new changes it lacks power. For players who do not have a very powerful pc, this can be a problem. In areas with more than 100 players the fps tend to drop a lot, but in normal dungeons, with a normal group or long battles, the game usually runs well, even in Ultra quality, but I prefer to play in low graphics to not saturate my eyesight. If you are interested in playing, you don't need a very demanding hardware to be able to play it and enjoy the basics. To enjoy all the content like the zVz(100vs100), you will need more advanced hardware. Sorry if I seem a bit inactive, I'm trying to solve several IRL issues, I'll come soon with much more content. Estos últimos días han sido buenos y malos, pero la mayoría de las cosas que me han pasado han sido buenas. Mis amigos me hicieron volver a uno de mis MMO favoritos, es un juego que para mi nunca muere, y muchos menos en compañía de mis mejores amigos.

No recuerdo cuantas veces he hablado acerca de Albion en mi Blog, solo sé que creo que he escrito de este magnífico juego más de una vez. Hace unos días anunciaron la nueva temporada de Albion, la que trajo consigo mucho contenido nuevo, cambios gigantescos a nivel de jugabilidad y algunos balanceos a armas que no eran justas.

Uno de los cambios que más me llamó la atención, al menos la que más noté, es la implementación de biomas en medio de otro bioma. Me explico, existen regiones en donde reina la nieve, otros en donde los pantanos se extienden por toda la tierra, otros en donde el caluroso desierto y la arena abundan, antes de eso, los biomas eran planos, solo veías arena si la región era de arena, visualmente no era demasiado atractivo, incluso no parecía que el equipo de diseño se hubiese esforzado, ya que algunas veces un mapa parecía copypaste de otro. Ahora mismo los mapas tienen dos cosas interesantes: una de esas cosas la expansión de estos mapas. Los mapas ahora se extienden mucho más, lo que significa que para poder viajar de una ciudad a otra, debes de recorrer demasiado, puedes demorarte hasta 30 minutos viajando de un lugar a otro, lo que hace que el juego en cierto punto sea algo realista, al menos a mi me parece algo muy positivo. La otra cosa interesante que poseen los mapas es la aparición de nuevos biomas, cosa que ya expliqué antes. Ahora en un mapa de pantano puede existir nueva flora y fauna, además de que añadieron muchos más mobs por el mapa, esto hace que el juego tenga mucha más vida.

Este es solo uno de los pocos cambios que el juego tiene para esta temporada. Para mi los cambios son muy positivos, alejan al juego de ser super repetitivo, hace que los jugadores tengan mucho más contenido que disfrutas, muchas cosas más que hacer.

El cambio a los mapas es solo una parte de los cambios, los balances también son una pequeña parte. Me sorprende que el mercado interno del juego siga funcionando tan bien, incluso los precios de los items ahora son mucho más altos, lo que hace que el jugador deba de crearse varios métodos de economía para poder prosperar(en Albion existen demasiadas formas de hacer dinero). Para el que no esté al tanto de como funciona Albion, básicamente el jugador no debe de encariñarse con sus items, ya que todo item es desechable, si mueres, lo pierdes todo y deberás de reequiparte otra vez. Para optimizar tu economía, primero deberás de subir el poder de alguna build que te guste, luego de maximizarla, ya podrás subir cualquier otra build con mucha facilidad. No sé cuanto dure mi nueva aventura en Albion, probablemente si mis amigos se mantienen jugando, mi travesía dure bastante tiempo, eso me emociona. Si ellos deciden irse, probablemente también deba de irme, no disfruto demasiado estando solo en Albion.
Hablando de no disfrutar estando solo, mis amigos de ARCH me gankearon cuando disfrutaba de un buen paseo en mi caballo, gracias noobs.

Todos estos cambios son muy positivos, aunque tiene su parte negativa. Mi Hardware a pesar de ser bueno, con los nuevos cambios carece de potencia. Para los jugadores que no dispongan de un pc demasiado potente, esto puede ser un problema. En zonas con más de 100 jugadores los fps suelen bajar mucho, pero en mazmorras normales, con un grupo normal o batallas largas, el juego suele andar bien, incluso en la calidad Ultra, pero yo prefiero jugar en gráficos bajos para no saturar mi vista. Si estás interesado en jugar, no necesitas un Hardware demasiado exigente para poder jugarlo y disfrutar de lo básico. Para disfrutar de todo el contenido como las zVz(100vs100), deberás de adquirir un Hardware más avanzado. Lamento si parezco algo inactivo, estoy tratando de resolver varios problemas de la IRL, pronto vendré con mucho más contenido. Sin más, nos vemos mis boomers!
Aw, yo pertenecí a ARCH cuando jugaba:( Ver Albion es bastante nostálgico a pesar que lo jugaba a principios de año (o a mediados del año pasado, ya ni recuerdo), ¿y eso que andas jugando de healer? Nojodas, yo pensaba que tú eras un DPS. Me encantaba mi pj Tank. ¿En serio tu pc no puede manejar las zvz? No sé qué pensaba yo cuando creí que mi difunta laptop sí iba a poder manejar una de esas haha.

Si, mi pc maneja los zVz pero cuando se separan los grupos. Esas zVz que se hacen dentro de una mazmorra en donde todos lanzan las habilidades al mismo tiempo, es ahí cuando de seguro los fps bajan. Y si, yo siempre fui Healer, mi dps está muy bajo pero poco a poco lo iré subiendo cuando tenga tiempo. No sabía que jugabas Albion, yo también pertenecí a ARCH, es por eso que digo que son unos noobs, siempre que peleas te dejan vendido y eso que son mayoría.
Yo jugué tank con maza incubo para las mazmorras y cuando íbamos a gankear me llevaba la otra que era de una mano (recuerdo que tenía una habilidad que saltaba y metía un stun y luego otra que inmovilizaba, puro cc esa mierda). Jamás jugué una zvz y gracias a dios que no lo hice, pero vi videos y me parece una locura:(

I agree with you to me this game will also never die, I've played it for 5 months, then I stopped, then I came back, then I stopped, then I came back, then stopped again.. :D Its allways some friends asking me "Hey lets go back" and everytime we do we enjoy until we get bored. But yea, the game is really good and theres no other game like albion, I mean there's still Tibia which is almost the same shit, but not that many people play Tibia. The only thing that frustrates me is that some builds counter another builds, so sometimes I felt like I lost the duel because the enemy build counters mine build. Maybe because I was bad and I couldn't choose the right spells on gear idk

Exactly, it's a game you can always come back to. If you play melee weapons and the enemy plays ranged weapons, that's a problem. Usually what you usually do is to bait all their defensive abilities. Then at the right moment you pounce on him and if you do it right, you will probably win the fight. Beyond the fame of the opponent and the items he carries, you also have to play with a lot of head, obviously there are fights that you are going to lose, but that's Albion. Yea Meele vs Ranged is really hard but as u say, if we play correct then we can beat them. Alright, I will let u know if I ever come back :)
Es la primera vez que veo este juego, actualmente tengo mi placa base dañada pero casi completo el dinero para comprar otra. Quiero jugar a este juego, por como lo describes se ve interesante, lo único es que dices que la armadura iten se pierde fácilmente.
Es interesante, pero no te encariñes con tus objetos, en algún momento los perderás y deberás de comprar objetos nuevos. Espero que pronto puedas jugarlo.
