Sea Of Thieves | Incredibly immersive multiplayer pirate game [ENG - ESP]
A few days ago something unexpected happened to me that I quite enjoyed. @Disamoy invited me to play a game that I already knew a bit about, I even got to see many posts in the community about it, but I wasn't even close to understand what I was missing by not playing it. Trust me, if you ever on Hive Gaming see a post from a user recommending a game, take them up on it and give it a try, you might find one more game to add to your favorites list. The game I will tell you about today is:
Sea Of Thieves
First of all I want to thank @Disamoy for inviting me to play with him and give me the game, I had an incredible time. Sea Of Thieves is a pirate game, where almost everything is action and more action. The game has a story that I don't know much about, but I think it will be very worthwhile, because something that this game has is that despite its cartoon look, it is very immersive.
I mean before downloading it I wasn't really looking forward to it, it was almost 100GB of download that would put my storage in trouble. The game downloaded pretty fast for me though, and the next day I started it up for the first time.
The first thing after starting it is to choose our pirate. I decided to go for a female pirate, as the male pirates didn't look that cool to me and I couldn't find the option to customize them. My beautiful pirate looks pretty badass yet funny, I think it was the best choice I could have made.
@Disamoy was talking to me on Discord and every second he was telling me: "Pay close attention to the tutorial of the game". I honestly trusted him and thought it would be easy, but it really wasn't. I was surprised to find that the game has quite interesting and realistic mechanics.
Every moment I spent on my pirate journey was a learning experience. After you finish the initial part or the basic tutorial, you are simply given a ship and set adrift to do whatever you want. You will have a lot of tools that you will use, also others that are more social to interact with your crew friends.
After playing alone and learning the basics, I joined @Disamoy's game, who is a pretty advanced pirate and wanted me to be his helper on the ship. In the end I wasn't much help to him, everything was done by him and I was just trying to learn, but it always went wrong; I even set his beautiful ship on fire by pulling out my knife in the middle of a storm, it's like a lightning rod without being a lightning rod.
On my first official adventure he was guiding me to lower and turn the sails into the wind, when suddenly something stopped our boat. It wasn't a rock, it wasn't dynamite, it was a Kraken. Although Sea Of Thieves is a rather cute and cartoonish game, the sea does have a certain realism if you see it from the ship; and the dark blue sea scares the hell out of me. When the Kraken appeared I got really scared, but it was only a momentary scare. We tried to defeat the Kraken with cannons and guns, but it ended up kidnapping us. This in an anime would end pretty badly. 😳
In the end we were able to save ourselves and run away from danger, it was totally unexpected and exciting. From that moment on I knew I wouldn't sleep all night playing. I didn't know it, but in that instant I had already fallen in love with the game.
To make our adventure more interesting, we joined 2 more pirates. As the hours went by I got to know them and I liked them a lot, I had an incredible time with them and I laughed a lot. That same night I played more than 6 hours in a row, and the best of all is that it was in Stream. You can watch my whole adventure from my Kick channel.
I'm trying to summarize my 6+ hours playing in this post, but I'm having a hard time. There are so many things that happened, all the time something new was happening, this game is SO WORTH IT. It's beautiful visually to the point of looking like a piece of cinematic, its sound is very good, it's multiplayer and very fun, I think you can't expect more from a video game.
It is true that it has several flaws, but they are very few. One of them is the voice chat, which does not have noise suppression like CS:GO and sometimes listening to all the keyboard noises and background sounds of others is somewhat uncomfortable. You can click to talk, but I never liked that option.

Hace unos días me sucedió algo inesperado que disfruté bastante. @Disamoy me invitó a jugar un juego que yo ya conocía un poco, incluso he llegado a ver muchos posts en la comunidad acerca de él, pero no estaba ni cerca de entender lo que me estaba perdiendo al no jugarlo. Créeme, si alguna vez en Hive Gaming ves un post de un usuario te recomienda un juego, hazle caso y pruébalo, puede que encuentres un juego más que añadir a tu lista de favoritos. El juego del que les hablaré hoy es:

Primero que nada quiero agradecer a @Disamoy por haberme invitado a jugar con él y cederme el juego, la pasé increíble. Sea Of Thieves es un juego de piratas, en donde casi todo es acción y más acción. El juego tiene una historia que desconozco mucho, pero creo que valdrá mucho la pena, ya que algo que tiene este juego es que a pesar de su aspecto cartoon, es muy inmersivo.
Quiero decir que antes de descargarlo no me hacía mucha ilusión, eran casi 100GB de descarga que pondrían mi almacenamiento en aprietos. El juego se me descargó bastante rápido a pesar de todo, y al día siguiente lo inicié por primera vez.
Lo primero después de iniciarlo es elegir a nuestro pirata. Decidí ir a por una pirata, ya que los piratas masculinos no me parecían tan geniales y no encontraba la opción de personalizarlos. Mi hermosa pirata luce bastante ruda y a la vez graciosa, creo que fue la mejor elección que pude haber hecho.
@Disamoy me hablaba por Discord y cada segundo que pasaba me decía: "Presta mucha atención al tutorial del juego". Yo honestamente me confié y creí que sería sencillo, pero realmente no lo fue. Para mi sorpresa me encontré con que el juego tiene unas mecánicas bastante interesantes y bastante realistas.
Cada momento que pasaba en mi camino pirata fue un aprendizaje. Después de que finalizas la parte inicial o el tutorial básico, simplemente te dan un barco y te lanzan a la deriva para que hagas lo que quieras. Contarás con un montón de herramientas que usarás, también otras que son más sociales para interactuar con tus amigos de la tripulación.
Después de jugar solo y aprender lo básico, me uní a la partida de @Disamoy, quién es un pirata bastante avanzado y quería que yo fuese su ayudante en el barco. Al final no le fui de gran ayuda, todo lo hacía él y yo solo trataba de aprender, pero siempre salía mal; incluso incendié su hermoso barco al sacar mi cuchillo en plena tormenta, es como un pararrayos sin ser pararrayos.
En mi primera aventura él me guiaba a bajar y girar las velas en dirección al viento, cuando de repente algo detiene nuestro barco. No era una piedra, tampoco dinamita, era un Kraken. A pesar de que Sea Of Thieves es un juego bastante bonito y cartoon, el mar si tiene cierto realismo si lo ves desde el barco; y el oscuro mar azul me da muchísimo miedo. Cuando apareció el Kraken me asusté de verdad, pero solo fue un susto momentáneo. Intentamos derrotar el Kraken con cañones y armas, pero nos terminó secuestrando. Esto en un anime terminaría bastante mal. 😳
Al final pudimos salvarnos y huir del peligro, fue algo totalmente inesperado y emocionante. Desde ese momento supe que no dormiría en toda la noche jugando. Yo no lo sabía, pero en ese instante yo ya me había enamorado del juego.
Para hacer más interesante nuestra aventura, nos unimos junto a 2 piratas más. Con el pasar de las horas los fui conociendo y me cayeron bastante bien, la pasé increíble junto a ellos y me reí mucho. Esa misma noche jugué más de 6 horas seguidas, y lo mejor de todo es que fue en Stream. Puedes ver toda mi aventura desde mi canal de Kick.
Estoy tratando de resumir mis más de 6 horas jugando en este post, pero me está costando mucho. Hay muchas cosas que pasaron, todo el rato pasaba algo nuevo, este juego VALE MUCHO LA PENA. Es hermoso visualmente hasta el punto de parecer una obra de cinematográfica, su sonido es muy bueno, es multijugador y muy divertido, creo que no se puede esperar más de un videojuego.
Es verdad que tiene varias fallas, pero son muy pocas. Una de ellas es el voice chat, que no tiene supresión de ruido al igual que el de CS:GO y a veces escuchar todos los ruidos del teclado y los sonidos de fondo de los demás es algo incómodo. Puedes pulsar para hablar, pero nunca me ha gustado esa opción.
En fin, espero que hayas disfrutado este post así como yo disfruté escribirlo. Hay muchas cosas por hacer en Sea Of Thieves y muchas más aventuras por vivir. Pronto les contaré más a fondo acerca de las mecánicas del juego, tal vez también mencione el PVP contra otros jugadores, hay demasiado contenido esperándome. Nos vemos a la siguiente mis boomers.

A pretty cool game that I played for a few hours but couldn't get properly into. Didn't really help that my gaming friends didn't like it either. I like watching videos and streams about it though. Great viewer game.
Oh, I understand perfectly. The experience of this game alone will never be the same together with friends, everything with friends is always better. The characters look a bit ass
They look great to me, at least for the aesthetics of the game they seem perfect.
The designs look a bit wack though. But nonetheless, it's not all that bad

Dioss, la escena del Kraken. Que maravilla y que miedo como salen los tentáculos del mar jsjsjs. Conozco el juego hace tiempo pero creo que nunca había visto nada más que unas cuantas capturas. En su momento me daba curiosidad jugarlo, pero terminé descartándolo por la misma razón que no te hacia ilusión, el peso xd. No quería bajarme 90GB. Aunque parece que valen la pena.
Yes, almost 100GB is too much, but I assure you it's worth it. The best way to play it is with Xbox Game Pass, I think it would be the cheapest way to do it. I hope you get to play it someday. Thanks for stopping by.

Yo llevo dias viendo e investigando sobre este juego he incluso me vi un video sobre la historia del desarrollo del juego y como fue en sus inicios hasta ahora, y con todo eso hace que me muera por jugarlo jajaja se lo divertido que puede llegar a ser este tipo de juegos y mas si vas acompañado de amigos XD.
Y la escena del kraken fue espectacular :3
You MUST PLAY IT! It is a very worthwhile game that will make you have a good time with friends. If you don't have friends to play it, you can make them since it is a multiplayer game. ¡TIENES QUE JUGARLO! es un juego que vale mucho la pena y te hará pasar un buen rato con amigos. Si no tienes amigos para jugarlo, puedes hacerlos ya que es un juego multijugador.
