THE FOREST: Noobs lost in the woods [ENG - ESP]
In my previous post I mentioned that @brataka, @oldfool and I embarked on an exciting adventure in: THE FOREST, a game that has been around for a long time, but is still a game that is worth playing. I had been planning to do a series of gameplays playing it, but that never happened for several reasons. To play with @brataka, I gave him the game on Steam, but despite receiving it, he never installed it and had the intention of playing with me. The curious thing is that if it were not for him, I would not have played THE FOREST again.
One day @brataka, inspired and motivated by the gameplays he saw about the game, finally downloaded it, and to his surprise, he liked it a lot. We often underestimate some video games without playing them, we pigeonhole them as "a simple game" or "a game that is not to our liking", but when we try it we change our minds. The best thing is always to take risks, whether your PC does not seem to meet the game's requirements or the game takes a long time to download, you will never know if the game is worth it without trying it.
Our first day in THE FOREST was complete chaos, I died about 10 times for different reasons, from the cold to being attacked by cannibals. I don't remember the game being so complicated, the first time I played it I could survive for several days without dying, I guess the difficulty of the game really changes a lot in "Hard".
If there's one thing I've learned in the past 3 years, it's that playing with friends is always better, so sometimes it's important to invest a little in your friends. 3 minutes into our adventure, I decided to buy the game for @oldfool, who was next to us in the Discord, but could only listen to us play and I felt it wasn't fair, I knew that if he joined us everything would be much more fun. In this first chapter you won't be able to see him, but you will be able to hear him.
Our goal on our first day was to establish a home in a good area, an area that I had in mind from the very beginning. Unfortunately, we got lost horribly in this first chapter and we couldn't make much progress, but we had a lot of fun. We promised that next time we would find the abandoned yacht and build a fortress around the coast to keep ourselves safe thanks to the water (enemies die if they touch the water).
I must admit that @brataka always manages in all the games we play together, he is always someone who is informed before entering fully and is someone who knows how to play in general, so he didn't die too much.

En mi post anterior mencioné que @brataka, @oldfool y yo, nos embarcamos en una emocionante aventura en: THE FOREST, un juego que ya lleva mucho tiempo desde que fue lanzado, pero no deja de ser un juego que vale mucho la pena. Hace un tiempo que planeaba hacer una serie de gameplays jugándolo, pero eso nunca sucedió por varios motivos. Para jugar junto a @brataka, le regalé el juego por Steam, pero a pesar de que lo recibió, nunca lo instaló y tuvo la intención de jugar conmigo. Lo curioso es que si no fuese por él, no hubiese vuelto a jugar THE FOREST.
Un día @brataka, inspirado y motivado por los gameplays que vio acerca del juego, por fin lo descargó, y para su sorpresa, le gustó mucho. Muchas veces subestimamos a algunos videojuegos sin haberlos jugado, los encasillamos como "un juego simple" o "un juego que no es de nuestro agrado", pero al probarlo cambiamos de parecer. Lo mejor siempre es arriesgarse, ya sea que tu PC no parezca cumplir con los requisitos del juego o que el juego se demore mucho en su descarga, nunca sabrás si el juego vale la pena sin probarlo.
Nuestro primer día en THE FOREST fue un completo caos, morí unas 10 veces por diferentes motivos, desde el frío hasta ser atacado por caníbales. No recuerdo que el juego fuese tan complicado, la primera vez que lo jugué pude sobrevivir varios días sin morir, supongo que la dificultad del juego realmente cambia mucho en "Difícil".
Si algo he aprendido estos últimos 3 años, es que jugar acompañado siempre es mejor, así que a veces invertir un poco en tus amigos es importante. A los 3 minutos de haber empezado nuestra aventura, decidí comprarle el juego a @oldfool, ya que se encontraba junto a nosotros en el Discord, pero solo podía escucharnos jugar y sentí que no era justo, sabía que si él se nos unía todo iba a ser mucho más divertido. En este primer capítulo no podrán verlo a él, pero si escucharlo.
Nuestra meta en nuestro primer día era establecer un hogar en una buena zona, zona que ya tenía en mente desde el primer momento. Lastimosamente en este primer capítulo nos perdimos horriblemente, no pudimos avanzar demasiado, pero si nos divertimos bastante. Prometimos que para la siguiente encontraríamos el yate abandonado y construiríamos una fortaleza alrededor de la costa para mantenernos a salvo gracias al agua(Los enemigos se mueren si tocan el agua).
Debo de admitir que @brataka siempre se las arregla en todos los juegos que jugamos juntos, siempre suele ser alguien que se informa antes de entrar de lleno, y es alguien que sabe jugar en general, así que él no murió demasiado.
Espero que disfruten nuestro gameplay así como nosotros disfrutamos hacerlo. Tal vez en unos días escriba el post del segundo capítulo que estuvo mucho más divertido y gracioso ya que @oldfool esta vez se une a nuestra aventura. ¿Tú jugaste a este juego? Yeah, it has a decent story, but it's a game that can become very short if you do what you have to do. In reality, it's up to you to decide whether to get through the game in 2 hours or take advantage of everything the game has to offer. I hope you have fun and thanks for commenting.

la dificultad de juego aumenta cuando jugas con mas gente, ya de por si me parece horrible ese bosque jajjja lo jugue dos veces y en ambas senti terror aunque no lo jugaba sola, no fue por los ataques sino porque la atmosfera en el juego es inquietante, espero ver mas de su aventura

Por mi parte nunca jugué al primer The Forest pero siempre escuchaba a Jean y a los muchachos mencionando el juego, me gustó el Sons of the Forest y la verdad no sé que tan diferente es uno del otro, o cuantas mejoras implementa, pero definitivamente suena más difícil el primero porque en mi partida no se me dificultó tanto.
Hay juegos que se gozan en compañía y definitivamente este es uno de ellos, mucha suerte en sus aventuras, saludos Perce.
The normal The Forest I like better as a game, but I found Sons Of The Forest much more realistic(the vegetation is god) and the animations along with the mechanics in general are also better. Having your own personal slave makes things much easier. On the other hand in The Forest you have to do everything manually, the good thing is that you can hire a slave like @oldfool and he does all the work for you with a wheelbarrow. Both are very worthwhile games, but in terms of price, requirements and size, I'll take The Forest without a doubt. Thanks for stopping by, cheers.
El The Forest normal me gusta más como juego, pero el Sons Of The Forest me pareció mucho más realista(la vegetación es god) y las animaciones junto a las mecánicas en general también son mejores. Tener a tu esclavo personal hace las cosas mucho más sencillas. En cambio en The Forest tienes que hacer todo manual, lo bueno es que puedes contratar a un esclavo como @oldfool y te hace todo el trabajo con una carretilla. Ambos son juegos que valen mucho la pena, pero en cuanto a su precio, requisitos y peso, me quedo con The Forest sin lugar a dudas. Gracias por pasarte por aquí, saludos.

Por cierto, vi un pana jugando The Forest 1 y casi quedó ciego por la iluminación que tiene el juego durante el día, esa vaina se ve demasiado claro.

Si, me parece que por el día la iluminación es bastante fea, pero también depende de la configuración gráfica que tengas. Mientras más alta sea tu configuración, peor se verá(es lo curioso). Por la noche si se ve genial, bueno, en realidad no se ve nada hahahaha.

Salir un poco de la zona de comodidad y probar juegos puede darnos buenas sorpresas. Es algo que descubrí hace poco tiempo.
Ese juego tiene muy buen aspecto, tengo entendido que como muchos otros juegos de ese tipo, cuanto más jugadores la dificultad escala también.

El Son Of The Forest es bueno, pero pide mucho. Si el normal me pone la pc como un helicóptero, no quiero imaginar este en multiplayer.
