Forgive and forget what does the bible say?
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32
The bible taught us that forgiveness of sins is very important in the life of every family and followers of Jesus Christ. The ability to forgive is when you let go of pain or anger caused by someone close to you, in such a way you don't wrong the person back. God calls Christians to forgive others just as He forgives them. It is not always easy, but it is a command that helps bring peace to the heart and restore relationships.
Someone can forgive but to forget is not easily done, that is to enraise our memory of the past. In some cases, you may still remember what happened, but you are expected not to hold it against the person or keep bringing it up. Forgiveness is about releasing the hurt and trusting God with the outcome.
