How do you know that Christmas has come, or is it already close, even without having a calendar at hand?

It's easy, just listen to the music that sounds around you.

Everyone knows that if they hear Jingle Bells, then it's time to prepare Christmas gifts.

But besides Jingle Bells, there are other melodies that are heard all over the world that herald Christmas.

One such melody, a folk melody, originally from my homeland, Ukraine, became known thanks to the processing of this melody by the composer Nikolai Leontovich.

We can say that he created a cover of a folk, choral song, this happened in the period from 1909 to 1916 during his studies.

In 1916, his version of Shchedrik, or, as many people know it under the name Carol of the Balls, was first performed for the general public and this melody won hearts.

For the last three days I have been working on creating my own version of this composition.

Christmas is something worth dedicating your time to.

I do not know how this melody sounds in Spain and Latin America and decided to create a version of the cover that would go well with the Latin flavor, because flamenco rules there, and how can Spanish Shchedric be without flamenco?

A couple of minutes ago, I finished working on this cover and posted a new music video that I want to share with you.

It seems to me that the acoustic guitar, flamenco and Shchedryk have become friends.

Enjoy listening!
