MAIZE CHALLENGE 2022 // WHEN THERE IS HEAVY RAIN PLUS WIND BLOW // SOME DAMAGES ARE BOUND TO HAPPEN.

It's another day of my #maizechallenge2022 initiated my Comrade @felixxx. As farmers,one of things the important things we all pray for is constant rainfall but when the constant rain now coming with heavy wind blow then it will become thing of sadness because part of the plant will be damaged. In the past 2 weeks now, there is no day without rain, but the rain we are experiencing now is kind of coming with heavy wind.

What I am about is that,during the time of making the ridges for the maize plants,I was able to make a big ridges so that it will help to withstand any pressure of rain and erosion. Moreso it will also help the root of maize plant to be well accommodated.

It's sad seeing your sweat being destroyed when it's about reaching time of harvest. I had no other choice than to improvise by making the plants stand again and support them by adding soil to support the root of the destroyed maize plant. I just hope they survive.

I just hope the remaining rain you be friendly till I harvest my maize plants.
