I want to use this medium to greet all great Hivers. How has been your day so far, hope you are all doing good? I'm positive minded that it's all well and fine.

The means to improve my source of income and livelihood made me want to dabble into this business. Firstly, I am a football fan, so I have little knowledge about what's going on the footballing world, most especially the viewing center business aspect.

Viewing center business is a designated place that different football fans come together to see their various clubs play live on screen with individual fan paying little token over the period that a particular match would be aired.

Before I started my Poultry farming business, the view center business has always been on my mind but then requires so much fund to kick starts and run the business. This reason made me opted to start poultry farm business then because it required lesser start up business capital.

HOW DID THE OPPORTUNITY CAME TO ACQUIRE THE VIEWING CENTER?

Ever since the sales of chicken is becoming unbecoming, I have been sorting to look into some other business that I can do but not that I will ignore the poultry farm business totally. So I still have like 100 birds that would be exactly four weeks next Thursday. So in lieu of that, I have been looking for other business to do then came this opportunity from a family friend who wanted to sell off this particular viewing center due to the fact that he's moving out of Town. I see this as an opportunity to acquire the view center and start up from there. Things I bought from him are;

  • Two big plasma TV
  • One standing fan ox
  • Two separate decoders
  • One big dish
  • A big generator
  • Thirty-eight separate benches
  • The whole building built of planks and woods.

CHALLENGES I'M FACING AND THE REASON WHY I HAVE TO MOVE TO A NEW LOCATION.

So during the process for acquiring the place I was sorting how to get a better and marketable location. But all my efforts proved abortive. Then I had to go with the option to continue using the same location the seller is using but still faced some difficulties. Some of the difficulties are

  • I have erosion problem
  • The area is not really students area because basically students are those that love watching football most times.
  • The owner of the land is pulling a threat in the background for me to leave the land because the view center wasn't sold to him.
  • The distance between where I live and where the view center is located.
  • Difficulty of where to keep my things like the generator and two plasma TV and I am not mobile, that would have been easier for me to take these things home.

In the process of using the place for three weeks I was able to get a rented place that's some steps away from where I live. To my happiness, it's a place that is students packed and they love watching football here. In the last couple of days, I made the decision to move my things down to the new location but firstly I had to dismantle the whole construction before it can be moved.

THE NEW LAND RENTED.

After all the dismantling had been done, the next thing was that I moved everything down to the new place.

THE CHANCE I HAVE.

Now that everything has been moved; the planks and woods while I have other things like the generator, tv, decoders etc kept in my other room at home. The only chance I have right now is that I have 14 days to prepare and construct a new building on rented land to start with but capital has been a little set back because I need to get additional woods, planks and roofing sheets to. Construct the new view center which will cost me about $200 to finish it up considering with what I have on ground. I promise will be blogging about any further development of the viewing center.
