Yesterday I updated how we embrace farming and gardening here in Nigeria. We don't just embrace it without a reason for it. The reason is that, the soils usually encourage us to farm and garden. We are so blessed and lucky that nature really smiles on us. That's why we are really embracing farming and gardening so hugely because it really sort lot of things for us, for every household.

How did this scotch bonnet started growing?

This unripe scotching bonnet doesn't belong to anyone but I think my Landlord can indirectly claim because she's the one who normally throw the seeds out unknowingly from any pepper she bought that she use to cook for dinner. She normally throws the water out when she rinsed the tomato, scotch bonnet and onions before she grinds it.

I usually keep an eye but not taking care of the scotch bonnet plant. It was when I called her attention that she started taking care of it by using a small net cover to fend off local chicken from picking it leaves. Ever since then, she has been encouraged to create a small garden to grow varieties of veggies and pepper.
